Stoped when my crank arm came off after a dodgy service and they helped me out with no charge. I was completely stranded so super grateful. Really friendly and some beautiful bikes.

Maybe one day I’ll get a dream bike from here.

Mark and Gavin have a passion for bikes and are 100% committed to ensuring that everything that leaves their shop meets their exacting standards. I take all of my bikes to them to be serviced and repaired from routine strip down to crash repairs, I have yet to find something they could not help me with. I look forward to buying my next bike from them.

Service De Velo (Mark & Gavin) are super helpful and have fitted me out with a couple of bikes. As a girlie (who just knows what she wants to achieve on a bike!), I particularly value their knowledge and guidance. After completing London to Paris on a hybrid I was hooked and decided I wanted a “proper “ road bike. I was recommended Service de Velo by three separate experienced riders... I picked up my custom built Orbea recently. The phenomenal service Mark and Gavin provide goes above and beyond. Super passionate and knowledgeable, Mark really takes time to talk to you and listens, finds out what sort of cycling you do... for me endurance not speed...and that the outcome is that you leave with your perfect bike. What I also like as a “novice” to road cycling, is Mark takes time to go back to basics and doesn’t make you feel stupid!! I can’t believe you would get better care, service and experience anywhere else!

Mark managed to do what several other bike shops in the area didn't manage to do: sell me a bike which actually fitted me properly. From the outset, he listened to what sort of cycling I do (and what I want to do), and recommended me a bike that was in budget, including a proper fitting. He 'went the extra mile', opening the shop on a Sunday afternoon especially so I could collect it at a time that worked for me, and also did the '3 month service' and 2nd fitting free of charge even though I'd left it way over the 3 month period (again, other local shops have refused to do a 'free' service even a few days over the 3 month period). Mark seems genuinely more interested in having a happy customer than making a fast buck. He knows his stuff and his enthusiasm is infectious. Don't buy a road bike until you've been to Service de Velo.

Popped in today for a quick chat as I've driven past a few times. Honestly, what a fantastic shop. Mark is so friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic, it's a real pleasure to just chat cycling after going to bike shops where it's difficult to get the staff to even acknowledge your presence.

Whatever your level of cycling, if you're anywhere near Hampshire, forget Wiggle, Evans et al. Go to Service de Velo, a proper bike shop. 5 stars for a reason.

Excellent bike shop with highly experienced staff - very knowledgeable on colnago / campagnolo / and offer full wheelbuilding service.
Have been invaluable in helping sort issues with my campagnolo kit - if you want cheap try Halfords or wiggle instead!

Always 10/10 service. After recently coming off my bike and rendering it unusable. They checked all parts to ensure it remained structurally sound and repaired everything to a working condition.

I cannot recommend Service de Velo enough! Mark accommodated me last minute when I was really stuck. Super impressive shop and awesome staff, I even got a coffee whilst I waited! Will definitely make a point of going back.
