Everything you can imagine you could get ever one for your home. Staff are lovely. It's clean. It's tidy quite well set out. It's a little shopping experience of its own

An overall great family store with good prices on most of the items.... I always end up buying things I don't need... staff is quite supportive too.

I love this store! Parking is easy and the store is massive with helpful staff. The clue is definitely in the name, it's full of bargains for your home! I never know what I'm going to find in here. Example, I brought a dog chew bone for £1.99 that's £8.99 in other shops. Bathroom products are a bargain from shampoo to toothpaste, cleaning and laundry products are a steal and the non generic version they sell are not only cheap but good. Examples are the laundry softener, smells so good and actually softens clothes unlike some. It's always worth a look in here as you never know what you will find! Food, plates, storage, curtain poles, toys and I'm sorry to do this if its too early but... Xmas decorations, stocking fillers and any other celebrations products! Have a look but you will be longer in there than you plan! After a recent visit they definitely need to sort out the staffing problem and no security. This should not be the responsibility of store workers. Join a union if you work here as obviously head office is taking the pee.

I visited the store with my daughter and grandson not needing anything in particular but by the time I got to the cash desk I was purchasing items that I wanted so much but did not need - at bargain prices.
Ipswich store is much nicer than Colchester.
And Fiona at the cash desk so so very nice.

I was introduced to this place by my teenage niece and am glad of it. Great place for bargains for the home as its name implies. The staff were so nice too, smiling, friendly and informative on their products.

I love shopping here so much choice and very reasonable prices too.

This is the first time that we have visited this particular branch and we were all very impressed, the space seemed bigger than our usual branch and there was totally different items. The place was clean and well stocked and, even though it was busy, we got through the tills quite quickly.

Love this store,..it's not busy..full of stuff you do(and don't 😳) need,at a really good price..
Went about 1:30 ,the car park was busy,..but not in here..funny how people filter out,..myself and my son didn't feel squashed at all...in fact,..most aisles were to ourselves..

Nice lighting too..just the right ambient temperature in-store too,..I hate cold air conditioned shops!
This isn't one,..a great range of choice...will go back for sure!

Good prices and great product

Loads of well priced everyday bits and pieces, very good deals scattered around the store too. You'll need a token or a pound coin for the trolleys as they actually use the locks and there's not many baskets either.

Friendly staff, loads of products within the store.. went in today to get some protein bars.. not bad products but the prices are good compared to other brands.
Free parking within time limit displayed.

Home Bargains is my favourite shop in Ipswich. Reasonable prices, wide choice of products and its biggest asset- staff. I always enjoy chatting at the tills, they are all friendly and approachable- I really appreciate Jess so much, she is always providing the best customer service. Other members of the team are really helpful too. Last year in the summer, my bank card got declined, two young lads left my shopping on the side, and welcomed me afterwards when I sorted the issue with my bank. They were very understanding, did not make me feel guilty or embarrassed and actually turned that into joke. I used to go to Sainsburys to have a nice shopping experience, now I can do it in Home Bargains, at much better price :)

Excellent customer service from staff and has very competitive products to buy with a decent range of products and its much cheaper then the high street supermarkets. I would very much recommend shopping here.

Wide selection of goods on sale at Home Bargains. Love the knockdown prices on household items like laundry/washing-up detergents, softener etc. Lots of personal items cheaper too. Gardening stuff and lots more. Lives up to its name....Home Bargains

Would like to say what a lovely young lady Emily is, she is always friendly polite and professional, I've never been in there and Emily isnt working hard she is always putting out items, always super efficient, and always willing to help me if I can't find anything and even though she's busy she's always so nice and helpful. The shop definitely feels more organised when she's in.

Also lovey young lady named Claire with pink and blue hair on tills, always so chatty and friendly has great customer service. Always cleaning her area and the nxt customer bars after every use which is really nice and especially with Covid. Always thoughtful to customers shopping I.e folding clothes and wrapping breakables for us.
