I brought my mom the raccoon experience for Christmas and we went to visit millets farm on Saturday the 13th of Jan. We were really impressed with the place, how big it is and how organised it is. With the garden centre, restaurant, cafe, farm shop, kids play area and the millets wildside where the animals are. I thought this experience was just to see the raccoons but we got to see so much more, birds, ferrets, wallabies, kookaburra, meerkats etc. our guide Alissa was brilliant, had a lot of knowledge of each animal and you can see she has a great relationship with the animals. Really impressed with this place. Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again. It’s worth the travel if it’s not just down the road, a great day out.

Amazing place to experience wild animals. The keepers all care about their animals, the place is beautifully kept and the experiences are really worth the money. It has been a wonderful day out for the family. Well worth a trip!

Amazing place. We had a meerkat experience booked, which was incredible and definitely worth doing, the lady leading the experience was very informative and friendly, unfortunately I didnt catch her name.

There were a lot more animals than I thought there was going to be, so many birds of prey, and all looked happy. The bird flying display was really good, the "6ft5 welsh man" was hilarious and informative during the display, and it was amazing to see the kites fly around together and catch food in mid air.

Overall, this is an amazing place and worth visiting, especially worth considering one of the animal encounters too.

Had a 'feed the meerkats' experience, and I can thoroughly recommend it. Ben, the keeper, was great. Very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about his job. Also saw the flying display (owls, falcons, etc), which was also great!

Really great wildlife centre and friendly and knowledgeable staff. I recently visited Millets Wildside during a VIP entrance booking. The experience was really interesting, being able to handle different birds of prey, as well as getting a guided tour from one of Millets falconers. Niel (I'm so sorry if that's not correct) was a great host for the hour-ish long encounter and was full of information about the birds we handled and the birds on display at Millets. The VIP experience was finished off with a flying display. I have attended the photography day in the past, but this VIP experience allows you to hold the birds and get really up close to them (as seen in the photos). Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and recommended it to anyone who loves nature, birds, birds of prey, or just animals in general as you can wander around the other displays afterwards.

A variety of animals, they looked happy and well cared for. Ponies, sheep, porks, rabbits and birds. You can approach them but you are allowed to feed them. There is a play ground with lots of options for kids and very close to the farm shop.

Well worth a visit, staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Cannot wait to visit again. Make sure you catch the talk on the birds and flight display, as well as making time for all the other wonderful animals on site!

Highly recommend a visit. We enjoyed a meerkat encounter with Jonathan which was both informative and interactive. We also observed the raccoons with Alyssa who gave us a great insight into these lovely animals, and many others on the park. We were also introduced to the birds of prey in flight, very exciting! The passion and affection the keepers have, and a high standard of care was evident in every aspect of our visit. We will definitely be returning. The rest of the farm park was fun to explore too, overall something for every member of the family to enjoy, all ages, with some lovely treats available in the tea room. Thank you for a wonderful day 😊

We had a great day doing the really wild encounter, Ben, our guide was very knowledgable and his love for animals really came across. I was slightly disappointed that the raccoons were no contact, but that was in no way the fault Millets Wildside, and due to changes in government legislation. They made up for this change by letting us feed the wallabies and handle the ferrets, I would highly recommend this experience to any animal lovers and we’ll definitely be back to do other experiences in the future!

Brilliant place to visit. Down side for wheelchair users is the entrance/exit to steep and concrete goes into dirt. I slide down going in and my husband has to help push me out as to steep on my own. The animals and birds are well looked after. Havent made it to the bird display yet.

Went back today FEB 2024. Ramp problem sorted for wheelchair and prams. Indoor flying arena for those wet days.

Always good value for money and always worth a visit. A little muddy in the wallaby enclosure for wheelchair users but does not distrack from being able to see the wallabies so close.

Paying to see the bird part was the best and its definitely worth the money I'd say summer is the best time to go summer but it's still a great day out in the winter.

This was our 2nd visit to Millets Wildside. It was great to see all the improvements and additions they had made. The falconry experience was really good and the staff were very knowledgeable. We will visit again at a later date

What an unexpected surprise. I'm no fan of animals in captivity, but I have to say, the animals here are well looked after, and the birds are able to fly freely with their trainers, even when doors are closed up the public. The falconry show was fantastic, it's a great day out.

Visited today for a "Meerkat Experience" and had a really good time. Spent about 30-45 in with the meerkats, feeding them and having them clamber all over us, as the keeper told us all about them.

They have quite a large collection of birds of prey to look at and a few farm animals in paddocks that you can get fairly close to.

A large farm food shop, very nice restaurant, garden centre shop and some boutique style units mean you can spend quite a while wandering around.

Would certainly recommend.

Amazing place, came for Italian car show. Didn't know that all the shops restaurants and falconry and animal and play areas were there. Spent all day and it looks like we'll have to visit again as missed a lot of other stuff.

We had tickets booked for the Raccoon Experience and we absolutely loved it! The lady who lead the experience was so knowledgeable and had a genuine passion for the duty of care of these animals. It makes all the difference in the world when you can see the animals are happy and well looked after. We all came away with new knowledge and respect for the raccoons! 🦝Would highly recommend and would definitely visit again!

Great place, and friendly guide. Good to go and see, or go and relax, forget the working day, and soak up a beautiful place. Some good bits for sale too
