We had a lovely afternoon by the cellar cafe. They serve wine flights, by the glass, bottles not only Squerryes but international wines, there’s a food truck, a cafe, cheese and charcuterie boards besides the restaurant and the brewery.

A truly wonderful and unforgettable experience.

I chose Squerryes Winery as the venue to propose to my partner and it couldn’t have been more perfect in every possible way.

Everything, from the venue and location, the staff on the day (Vicki was amazing) the estate owner Henry’s kind words and gesture, the beautiful food and their own Squerryes estate wine was excellent.

The restaurant ambience, the quality of food and the overall kindness and compassion of everybody at Squerryes made for an unforgettable experience.

We can’t wait to return to try their famous Sunday Roast.

Thank you all so much, Daniel & Berna xx

Good food, excellent sparkling wine and breathtaking scenery! Not to mention extremely helpful and caring staff. When I accidentally sat on a berry and stained my coat, Nikki kindly helped me with the mess. Thank you! 😘

Last night was our 4th visit to Squerryes- and did not disappoint. This time we treated a very good friend to the New Year tasting menu. The food was sublime. The drinks choices perfectly matched- thank you Anton.
I can honestly say this was one of the best (if not THE best) tasting menu we have ever had! And we’ve also been to The Square and Marcus Waring’s own restaurant!
The people who looked after us at Squerryes were friendly, polite and knowledgeable. They were also great fun to chat to.
We were fortunate enough to try the Head Chef Shamy’s take on rhubarb and custard- fabulous - and I’ll never eat rhubarb again without remembering the tale he told us about his granny’s veg patch.
A perfect evening- and one we’ll never forget- because it was SO very special. Thank you.

Stunning location and very lovely setting. We had a bottle of rose champagne and shared a few of the tapas plates - king prawns, chorizo croquettes, smoked salmon and calamari. Wonderful, highly recommend.

Nothing short of magnificent here! The winery offers a great selection of Brut’s and Rose’s. They offer a membership which entitles you to reduced prices along with numerous other benefits. Exclusive invitations to events. They’re own restaurant on the terrace serving sumptuous cuisine. The staff are very tentative and courteous. They have quite a few awards too. 👍🇬🇧🥂

Lovely location for a picnic! The food was really fresh, the wine was delicious and we were able to request longer than the 2.5 hours given to each sitting. Would definitely recommend and will no doubt be returning soon.

Attended my daughter's wedding reception yesterday and it was wonderful! Squerryes has the most amazing views, especially for photos, the food was awesome and the service fantastic. Nicki our waitress worked so hard on her own and was always ready to meet everyone's needs. She took the time to get to know a few of the guests names and made the service personal. The day proved to be everything the couple wanted and provided them and the guests with some amazing memories. Thank you so much Squerryes.

I came to a coroporate wine tasting event here a month ago. I’ve been to a Park Run here before too.

The two Suzie’s, the tour guides, were really knowledgable - I am a horticulturist, my wife’s family have vines in Spain and I have some knowledge of vines so I found the tour of the vineyards fascinating. These are very professionally run and maintained vineyards! And the tour guides really love what they do and are very knowledgeable.

I found the history explanation of the tour fascinating. The owners of Squerryes Court, the Ward family have owned the estate for nearly 300 years. Suzie mentioned Sir Patience Warde had been Lord Mayor of London in 1680, as they are about to name a bottle of wine after him.

That got me thinking during the tour because we’ve just discovered that our 10th times great grandfather was Sir Nicholas Crispe, 1st Baronet who was very much around in London at the same time as Patience Ward. So while I was walking around the vinyard I was thinking I bet my ancestor knew Sir Patience Ward.

Anyway it turns out I have more of a link to Squerryes Court than I thought as it was actually Sir Nicholas Crispe that actually owned and built the current Squerryes Court!!

Nicholas Crispe’s daughter was married to the 1st Governor of the Bank of England. The Wards also have links to the early Governor’s of the Bank of England!

Anyway apart from finding out that I have family links to Sueerryes ( I only live 3 miles away) the actual wine tasting and meal was excellent. I’m not a massive fan of sparking wines but these are very very good!! The food was really good too. It was a really great evening. We’ll definitely visit the restaurant.

Overall I would really recommend coming here.

I just wish the house was open to the general public and not just corporate guests so I could see what my 10th great grandfather built!

Can you keep a secret? So can I!
But with regards to the restaurant at Squerryes Winery it shouldn’t be a secret. Fabulous food from a young chef. Great service from the team. And a first class wine expert on hand to help your selection. Not sure there is a better restaurant outside of London. Go visit whilst you can still get a table.
