As a current graphic design student I have found the facilities for Art & Design to be excellent along with passionate teachers who have guided me to the graphic design course I'm taking now. They have also helped me find some work experience along the way.
If you are aspiring to work in the creative industry, West Kent College is recommended.

The food is not bad but for what it's worth it could be a little cheaper.

A very good modern, friendly college with committed staff. The skills of the graphic design tutors in helping various groups to succeed in their abilities is an education in itself. Enthusiasm for student's work and gentle steering in the right direction was exemplary. The tutors work tirelessly … writing references and offering support if and when needed. They believe in design and it shows.

My daughter studied Musical Theatre and graduated July 2018. Up until January 2018 she was extremely happy and motivated with a wonderful tutor (Emma). This showed in the fabulous shows Emma produced. Sadly for the last 2 terms at West Kent College another Tutor took over my daughter's class on maternity cover. Unfortunately the new Tutor was not great, she proved to be less professional and spent a lot of time demotivating the students by screaming and shouting at them...the standard had slipped! It was a real shame as all had been going so well. Fortunately the positive influence of Emma was enough to secure my daughter fantastic exam results and secure a place at a top London theatre school.

Good experience studying lvl 3 computing in the computing IT department. Computing tutors want the best for everyone. Computing tutors there should be paid more. Giving 4 stars because the canteen prices are expensive, it's best to go down to town or bring own lunch, and one year I tried enrolling and when I came for my enrolment day after doing the interview and everything I was told no more spaces were available. Apart from that I had success next time I enrolled again, so it's best to apply as early as possible and go for enrolment day at the same time as everyone else, or reserved spaces can get taken by others if you come at a later date for enrolment which happened to me without notice.

I've been a student at North Kent for about three years at the time of writing and for the first two years my experience with the college was overall a positive one. My tutors when studying both Media and Catering were polite as well as extremely outgoing.

This was also the case for the first 5 months of this year, studying Esports. However recently my previous two tutors left the college as a result of being mistreated. At this point in time I am left with no tutors because everyone who works in HR (the department in charge of employing people) seems to be ill; all at the same time, bit odd? As a result of this they can't employ anyone who could take over from our previous tutors. In the meantime we are getting given poorly organised assignments as well as completely ignorant and oblivious supply tutors.

It is not worth my time, effort or money to travel into college for the quality of teaching that I am receiving. I'm much better off doing my own work at home on something that better suits my career and my future. At the moment, I feel I am not able to reach the potential I would be able to with the correct teaching, and this could affect my grades and my future.

There are many other negative aspects about the college including its overpriced canteen food and shoddy IT systems, but I shan't go into that as I don't want to write a review the length of the Holy Bible.

Poor show guys.

I've been studying at this college for almost 4 years now, I would say study at this college is like flipping a coin. There is a 50% chance you will end up having an irresponsible person as your tutor. However, I would still suggest people studying Motorsport at this college.
(Just remember there ain't no such thing as a free lunch.)

The college is modern and has great facilitys, but it's lacking with it's management and organisation.

Poor college. Lack of tutors, no consistency. On the plus side it's modern and good location

In my experience the college spent more time and energy on the renovation of the buildings than the quality of the education.
Please understand this was a few years ago but the experience was not a pleasant one.

Do not Study at NKC Branded colleges! I had a awful experience here given i wanted to become a Firefighter and came to college a with a positive approach yet every member of staff was either rude unhelpful and not bothered. Given i was told i would be the oldest in the class in regarding doing a public services course at the age of 20 i am here to start my Career not kick off my social life! Given how rude every member of staff was to my positive approach do not bother with this college you will waste your time. They think its ok to be so rude and unhelpful to young people who are trying to start their Careers!
