Love this place, especially for Christmas shopping. Lovely original goods, high quality and friendly staff. Christmas shop is gorgeous and the quality of decorations they have is great.

Traditional town centre department store, that we have all too few of nowadays. The type of place you spend a Saturday or Sunday in with your parents as a kid. Shop here and keep them going.

Old fashioned charm mixed with some lovely stock, Fashion to Pens!
It used to have an amazing furniture department now sadly gone.
Guess nothing lasts forever!

We enjoyed a cheese scone and a coffee and a tea in their top floor cafe which is well set out

Enjoyed the food very much ; had beef strongman with vegetable instead of rice , delicious - Service also very good, finally - excellent coffee

A lovely place to shop with a good cafe on the top floor. Lots of car parks close by. Centrally located with the railway station opposite.

I would recommend booking a personal shopping appointment. The lady was just brilliant. She took into account what I was looking for and brought a good range of dresses into a spacious private changing area before I arrived. She then helped me choose a dress. It was a really great experience. I didn’t feel under pressure to purchase but I felt with her help I was able to choose the perfect dress for my event. I am really pleased I booked the personal shopping appointment and would wholeheartedly recommend the experience.

Really love this old department store. Have some lovely Max Mara Weekend clothes that personally I love !

Great for perfume too. If you have an account card they give you points which you can claim back and get money off. Last year it was £30 I got taken off.

Lovely old department store. You can also use the car park for account holder's but this store could be under threat if the Theatre and civic centre goes ahead as part of the car park would shut. Visited today. Has gone downhill. Not as great as it was.

Fab store. PS. At Christmas the window displays are very similar to what is shown in Selfridges, Harrods and other upmarket stores.

Really nice to have a shop that’s independent and so stands out from the rest. Restaurant is very nice and every member of staff was polite and very helpful

What a brilliant store, it has so much to offer.

This has been my favourite store for over 30 years. It’s my guilty pleasure about 4 times a year I make the 35 mile journey just to enjoy the best shopping experience. I love being called Madam. Excellent service. Amazing staff. The store is beautifully laid out and changes constantly keeping up with the fashions and styles. This type of service and quality is a dying breed! I for one will enjoy this treat for as long as I can. The restaurant has amazing Lunches too. Everything in a one stop store 👏

A regular stop for me on a visit to Tunbridge Wells, first time back since Covid. Good and swift service, the fruit scone was large and along with butter and jam truly delicious. Pot of tea enough for two cups, so points for that. Just across the road from the Station. Recommended

Great choice for lunch with two family members in wheelchairs. Access from car park then a lift to top floor disabled loo (excellent!) Well spaced tables and quiet atmosphere. Then a tasty lunch with reasonably priced wine. We all loved it. Thank you to helpful staff.

One of my favourite stores. The cheese scones are really lovely in their cafe and so are the fruit ones. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I brought towels about 5 years ago in their sales and they are still going strong. Their sales are very good very good prices . I feel a trip coming up them very soon.

My family favourite store. Wonderful designer collections through to quality brands. Great location, helpful staff and great environment to shop, and remains contemporary. Love the new menu in the restaurant too.

Love this store. Expensive, actually very expensive but if you are a bargain hunter you can get some really good deals when they have sales. Staff is friendly and very helpful.

This was the first time I'd visited Hoopers since restrictions. It was wonderful to see the store well stocked with high quality goods again. Not very busy but it was a cold damp Friday!
