We recently visited Pets at Home, Folkestone, as one of our cats was not well.
Due to her age, her diagnosis was not good. The Vet explained to us her ailments and unfortunately, the kindest thing to do was to put her to sleep. We had sixteen wonderful years with her and were with her at the end.
All the staff at Pets at Home were so kind, understanding the emotions we were experiencing and giving us time to say our last goodbyes.
We have since received a card of condolence from the staff at Pets at Home, which is such a thoughtful thing to do, and we thank them whole heartedly.

Always find what I am looking for, staff are always polite and helpful. The animals always look well cared for. Use this store frequently.

Only complaint is not enough disabled parking bay's otherwise great store

Very helpful and lovely staff

I had ordered rabbit food instead of rabbit litter online(old age!!) So went into the store to see if I could change it. The young girl was so helpful and happy. I even got a discount because I joined the loyalty thingy which she talked me through how to do it on my phone...

Love this shop for my pets. Great friendly staff who are very helpful. I had a little dilemma in that I bought some wainwright kitten food and my kitten wouldn't touch it.. Opened a couple packs to try a few days but Carlos and the older cat Obi totally declined. I took the boxed food back to the shop to donate or something and buy different food but the service I received was exceptional as they replaced the food i brought in with another brand for me and gave me a refund for the remainder of the wainwright.. Thank you so much really appreciated and another reason why I will continue to use Folkestone Pets at Home store..

A good selection of stock nice looking store. I look up an offer on dog food on the internet, my local store is Dover but travelled to Folkestone as i have always had good service and found what i needed here. This visit was was no exception as the staff were amazing, especially a lady who could see we were looking at the dog food, she looked up the offer i'd seen (there were no adverts at the time on the shelf) looked it up found it and offered to take our chosen 3 bags to the checkout. She was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble a credit to her employer. The lady on the till was also very lovely it kinda made our day to see happiness in a work place.

I wanted to leave a review as today I went In search of a new harness for my husky Zara, I was assisted by Debbs who couldn't do enough to help! She was fantastic and also fitted the harness and made Zara feel as comfortable as possible. I ended up leaving with a matching collar and lead to the harness Thank you again Debbie! Fantastic customer service!

Very helpful staff, good choices.

I had pre ordered a gerbil cage so went to pick it up and in the process i got some bedding and food as i was sure of which i asked a very polite and helpful store worker i didn't get her name otherwise I'd definitely give her a shout out. Just for this experience I'd got out my way to go folkestone store again very impressed only if more stores had such friendly helpful staff. Big thumps up👍

Best selection of Nature's Menu raw food (Ashford lacks the variety). Great opening hours, meaning I can always come after work and never have to queue. Our girl loves coming in with me, as she gets a lovely treat from the counter. Always great service, and always lovely and clean.

Every time I have been here over the years, the staff really seem to care about their positions and have always helped where they can!

Store itself is always stocked with loads of goodies for our doggos and pretty much any other products for them!

The staff is always very helpful and friendly. Especially the grooming salon has great staff starting with the amazing Sarah who takes care of all my dogs in the best way. Would definitely recommend.
