Halfords - Folkestone

I must say I was not expecting much after visiting the Ashford store. I was very much surprised by such a high standard of customer service that this store offered if staff were unsure they sort advice from a truly charming polite well-mannered manager who went over and above in helping to ensure I brought the right product. I did not feel pressured into the most expensive or add on such a refreshing change. I will be more than happy to drive out of my way to visit this store again . I managed to snap a photo of the very helpful manager 🙂

today I called in to Halfords park farm Folkestone & was greeted by MATT, I explaned my needs & he fulfilled them perfectly.
I bought a Car battery, I replaced my wiper blades (he fitted them & the battery) he told me the benefits of Halfords membership & I bought that, a WD40 CAN. it was a JOY to deal with him oh & he
did a check over my vehicle. his manner in dealing with customers was Exemplary!! whatever you are paying him you should Double it! as in future if I have need ANY motoring parts or accessories I will not hesitate to go to see Matt & will recommend him to friends & total strangers!!!

Absolutely top notch service from an extremely friendly, courteous and professional team of staff. Going far and beyond what I was expecting from what was supposed to be a simple servicing of my pushbike (it wasn't). I cannot recommend them enough.

The staff member ‘Torrie’ went above & beyond to make sure a stock error did not spoil our shopping experience. She kept me updated on dashcam delivery from another branch & within days we collected! Many thanks & this service has kept me a satisfied Halfords customer who will return!

Awful customer service. Car was booked in to have a dashcam fitted. Left the keys and dashcam with the assistant who put it under the counter ready to give it to the fitter.
4 hours later when I returned I was given the keys back. Went to the car and no dashcam. Back at the counter the same assistant retrieved the dashcam from where she put it with some lame excuse it had got pushed to the back. She went off to find the fitter who completely ignored us and went to a screen to find another slot. "Bring it in tomorrow morning and maybe I can fit it" was his suggestion. I told him I would not bring it back on a "maybe". It is booked in for next week.
There would seem to be no coordination or communication between the staff and I wonder what the fitter was doing during the 2 hour slot when he should have been installing it.
His attitude was quite arrogant, no apology or explanation, and he took great joy in wishing us to have a great afternoon.
£70 fitting charge for a sloppy service.
Update- it has now been fitted and the customer service was completely different. Efficient and professional and the Manager apologised for last week and made amends for which I am very happy. I have updated the review to 5 stars which they deserve.

Had a problem with my headlights and wasn't sure if it was blown bulbs or a fuse. The member of staff 'Kirstie' was brilliant and pinpointed the problem right away. With the help of Jack I was soon back on the road. Thank you Kirsty and Jack for a great 5***** service, much appreciated!

Entirely positive; we'd bought the wrong replacement bulbs for our van, but had lost the receipt. Excellent advice and willing exchange meant that we left the shop extremely satisfied with van lights all working.

Picked up my granddaughters birthday present. A nice very shiny Pembleton. Excellent service from Joe and his colleague (sorry didn't get your name) put it in my car for me. Thanks guys.

I was unable to remove the rear wheel bearings off a racing bike, mostly due to specialist equipment required. The repair was carried out promptly and to a high standard by their workshop. I can recommend Halfords for cycle repairs and the cost was very very reasonable, thamknyou

Amazing staff, it was raining hard and the guy who changed my bulb was friendly, kept me informed on what was happening and finished as quick as he could.

Came in late in the day today but that was no issue for Joe, who went above and beyond to help me with my bike. As someone who’s not great with these things, to get that level of service really goes a long way, especially towards the tail end of a shift. Cheers Joe, top man!

Went in to the Folkestone store with a punctured out and about tyre which I needed sorting quickly. Staff really helpful all done within a few mins. Great help
