Just returned an open tin of emulsion which clearly is lilac, not grey as chosen or described. No quibble exchange given and excellent advice from the staff involved Sarah, Rob and Helena. All three knowledgeable, cheerful and happy to help.

So this evening I was THAT customer that came in towards closing time and not really knowing what I wanted paint wise. Marie and Ben where so helpful and didn't make me feel like I had to rush. They pointed me in the right direction of what paint was most durable with having dogs and easiest to clean up marks.The pair of them make an excellent team and I will advise anyone to go speak to them both for a 5 start service with a laugh and great chat too.

Five star plus for Susan and Lesley. Susan served me at the till and recommended I check the wall paper was all the same batch numbers. She did this for me. Lesley went beyond great customer service by ringing other stores for extra rolls I needed. They both seemed very contented to be working for B&Q and made every effort to make sure the customer got what they came into store for which is such a blessing when you struggle making decisions. Not to dampen the review at all but some of the other staff members could learn a lot from them. Starting with a smile 😊

Great place for all your home and garden project's! Anything you need from electrical items to painting necessities, to creating your perfect garden. Car park easily accessible and plenty of space. Staff helpful and friendly too. Prices moderate and have some good bargains throughout the year.

Big thanks to Rodger who helped me and my partner sort out the paint we needed for our new home. He was very knowledgeable and friendly answering all of our questions.

Has most things I've needed for a DIY job. After fitting a ceiling fan and finding out the glass was broke at the end. I took the glass part back and they swapped it for me saving me taking it back down. Perfect service.

Hubby had to buy decking screws and brackets, managed to spend quite a lot more tho! The work needs to be done whilst we've got the weather. BQ usually has what you need.
Just came back for some silicon spray for the car window. I am looking for some ideas for a covered area. Good range and prices.

Always been a good DIY store, but lately has improved alot. The garden centre section is very good indeed. Plant choice and quality is remarkable and prices are much cheaper than the big garden centres...

A mid week visit. The store was reasonably quiet, plenty of available staff to assist if needed. Lots of end of summer season clearance sales all at reasonable prices. Store was well organised, items clearly marked, tidy and clean. This is my first go to store if I am looking to purchase anything for either inside or outside of my home.

This store is far better stocked than Blackburn store. Managed to find a giant plant pot to re-pot my large Olive tree which is pot bound. Staff very helpful.

This store is bigger than an aircraft carrier, or a medium hospital. Or the size of a football field. But smaller than a premium rank football stadium. It's the biggest single level building I have been in. When we decorated we bought over 300 pounds weight of tiles. It has the range, price and quality that is available. If you can't find it here then I would not be surprised if it's not available! The prices are good. It's an experience of retail selling on the grandest scale! It's range covers the ultimate, medium and cheapest available. I bought the cheapest shed and it lasted a decade. The staff may not be able to share tips about what you purchase. Go online before you go, or find the comments of a trades person? Or when there, surf on your smartphone to help you.

The young lad who cut the wood was polite, knowledgeable and a credit to the store and B&Q. We went in at approx 6.45pm so if you know whi he is say a big thanks

I want to congratulate "gardening" John, who helped me today on a purchase. It's a long time since I have received service like that, he was so helpful and friendly, unlike some staff who just say "sorry, I don't know " rather than go and ask someone else.

Been multiple times (almost every weekend for the first 6 months) since I purchased my new home. The staff at this store are always extremely helpful and kind and go above and beyond to help.
