Tootsies Ice Cream & Coffee Shop

We came across this gem of an ice cream shop and cafe whilst travelling from Southport to Blackpool. What an excellent place. The cafe was quite busy when we first got there, which is a good sign. We managed to get a table easily. The different flavours of ice cream is incredible. The desserts menu is amazing. I had the strawberry delight and you can chose which the three scoops of ice cream you want. My partner had the knickerbocker glory again with three scoops of his choice of ice cream. Both came with loads of fruit. Strawberries for me, strawberry sauce, crispy fan wafer and a biscuit curl. Unfortunately this day they didn't have any whipped cream. But that didn't matter as they were both delicious without the cream. I'm not a fan of scooped ice cream, but I am converted now. The ice cream was delicious. The cafe does do food other than ice cream. The cafe is accessible to wheelchair users. There is a disabled toilet and a car park nearby. Well worth a visit. The staff were lovely and friendly

Excellent find!! Dog friendly, lovely well cooked and tasty breakfast. Fantastic latte too. Extra sausage for Molly. Very friendly staff and great service. Worth waiting for such a good well cooked breakfast. Definitely be back!

A great little ice cream shop and cafe. We had a hot meal inside which was air conditioned. Lovely and cool inside. Quick service and the food was lovely. Also very reasonably priced. Would recommend. Parking at the side with the entrance from the A59.

Popped in for a cool down ice-cream during a random heatwave in September. I ordered mint & choc with Oreo flavour ice-cream it was incredible so soft and creamy, and good value for money. Well worth the 20 min drive and very good portion sizes too. Service fab and AC was a bonus as my ice-cream didn't melt as quick as it would of outside. Ample free parking too which is a huge bonus.

I proper love this place. We've been going for years. Sometimes the tables don't get cleaned up promptly but to be honest it's always busy and they work really hard. Other than that can't fault it. Ice cream always great with loads of choices and the food is great and tasty. They do screw Halloween food for the kids etc. Well good I tell thee.

Just had a lovely BLT and luxury hot chocolate from Tootsies. Friendly, quick service and lovely hot food. Bacon was extra crispy just as requested and hot choc came with marshmallows and flake in a separate pot so they hadn't all melted by the time I drank it. Thank you Tootsies!

Nice food, coffee and staff. I visit this place regularly and am always greeted with a smile. I’d recommend the place and menu options.

Amazing place and quality ice cream. Women serving was friendly and cheerful. Made me cappuccino when they were just closing. Great gesture and appreciated. Small things makes you wanna go back.

I'm already dreaming about when I can return! Staff really friendly and patient. Great selection of drinks. And the ice cream is just amazing, loads of options and you can choose your own flavours in the sundaes too. Highly recommend! (they also do other stuff but I only went for the ice cream)

Went today at a very busy time for ice cream with a friend.
We have a few issues with allergies and the lady serving us was knowledgable,patient and understanding.
Excellent customer service,oh and the ice cream was great too.

We took a trip to Tootsies for ice cream with my son last Saturday afternoon! It was recommended by some friends and it was local to where we were staying. The shop was busy and beating all the tables were filled. There were such a good range of flavours available that we were spoilt for choice!! We could have tried most flavours! Anyway we both opted for a waffle cone. My son chose pannacotta and wild cherry and I had the coffee and walnut. They give you a big scoop and it was more than enough! My son loved it so much that he wanted to come again! So we came on the Sunday (after lunch!) along with other members of our family and he was able to have the Easter egg sundae. He saw it on the way out on Saturday and already decided that would be his next choice at the next visit! Sunday was busy again and we ordered 4 ice creams. My son got his sundae and he picked mint choc chip. It was a really good portion plus you get squirty cream, Ferrero Rocher eggs and chocolate sauce. He loved it! I picked sticky toffee pud this time. All in all, a great little place to go for fresh ice cream and reasonably price! My son wants to return to try the Biscoff pancakes!!

Amazing! Ordered 2 ice cream milkshakes £3.50 each which i think is an absolute bargain! Lots of staff so service is really quick no matter the length of the queue which can get out of the door. Buts thats the quality and rep this place has landed.
Plenty of seating aswell. Only suggestion i would make is have a seperate exit as when the queue exceeds the door people have to squeeze past to get out.
Looking forward to going again soon

Delicious Ice-cream. We stopped on the way back from Soutport and with both outside and inside seating and a choice of portion sizes it's easy to find something to eat for everyone.

I've not been here before and went with my girlfriend and her daughter The food was nice and the staff too

Wow is all I can say. Never had so much ice cream fit into a double cone before. 2 scoops was more like 5 or 6 definitely value for money. £4 for 2 scoops with nuts on top. I had mint choc chip as well as one on my daughter's. My wife had Biscoff and Chocolate brownie. My other daughter had Chocolate Brownie and Bubblegum. 5 extremely large ice creams for £25 could now beat it anywhere.

Sat outside eating double cones of ice creams having been served by an exceptionally nice lady who has only recently started working here. Wonderful personal skill, absolute pleasure.

Christine is an incredibly welcoming individual 😇and real asset to the company. The breakfast was also delightful.

A great place to go. Ice cream is fantastic and breakfasts are spot-on. Excellent choice for lunch, great coffee. Friendly and cheerful staff. A stones-throw from the lovely Brickcroft Reserve. See picture.
