Twickenham Green

Beautiful little oasis within the busy locality.
New to the area but observed people strolling, walking their dogs, chatting and drinking coffee.
I see cricket in the summer and pleasantness all round.

Twickers green is a very well-appreciated local green. There is a Sainsbury's on one side so you can grab a sandwich and sit in the sun, Arthur's Pizza is on the green too, fabulous pizza and coffee and lunches...there is always people on the green, its lovely...and never a bit of litter on sight.

Not much for the adults and lots of pointless stalls but the Kids had a fab time as there was plenty for children and I guess that's what it's all about.
Funfair rides candy floss and hotdogs. There was a stage and a band playing Rock N Roll but more for the oldies... overall out of 7/10 x

It’s a good place for kids and family to hang out. Clean as well. There is an Italian restaurant at the end of the green. Also shops nearby in case you want to have a picnic and don’t want to carry from home. Even schools can do sports activities there.

I laid flowers 🌼🌹🌺 for two princesses on the memorial bench I love to do this for Amelia Sarah Marsha and Milly we must always remember these ❤ four angels

What a great place to go walk around, play with the dog or to just sit and view the sunset in summer. Even better when the cricket is on as you can sit and enjoy seeing some great hits.

Twickenham green is superbly placed at the west side of Twickenham before the main centre, it is large enough for cricket matches to take place and is often frequented by families on picnics and dog walkers, the schools make full use also on popular sports days, much smaller in size, and triangular in shape compared to Richmond green

Lovely place to relax before i went to the rugby, watched about an hour of cricket but would of stayed longer if i didnt have ticket for the rugby

Had a kebab, sitting on the green in the glorious sunshine, safely socially distancing, but still loads of people there. But needed to get out.

Vast space in the middle of houses and just beside Twickenham main street. Perfect of a spring Sunday after noon with a picnic. Some special days, this space hosts cricket matches.

Fantastic place to visit especially if the cricket is on. Liv’s coffee from the telephone box is exceptional and great pizzas on the green

Twickenham Green is small but such a great outdoor space. Lots of dog walkers take their dogs here and in summer it really comes to life with fairs, cricket games & plenty of families and others having picnics. It also houses the circus a couple of times a year. There are no toilets though, but it’s close to plenty of pubs and a shop for refreshments.

The best park in london so far with friendly environment .

Wonderful village green feel with cricket most Sundays and Saturdays and the pavillion open for a cold beer

Great open space for everyone.
Specifically during lock down.
We were able to bring a beer & chair to sit & chat.
Now at weekends just sit & watch the cricket.
Then wander off to some great local pubs nearby 👍

Its a nice place to sit down and relax on the benches, there's normally cricket on the weekend and even sometimes in the week, it's a nice place to excise and play sports there's no bathroom as they have recently taken them down a café of to the side and a few bus stops around the area, there's also a Sainsbury's near by as well. Over all a nice place to go to.

A nice place to take the dog for a walk on a cold winter's day. Normally the cricket pavillion would be open and on the other side of the park there is a fantastic Italian restaurant that has a wood fired oven.

The park itself is within walking distance to top class pubs and restaurants. Sadly the pandemic has closed all the usual spots but they will be back. Hopefully.
