My husband and I visited on Friday afternoon. Pretty quiet and relaxed place. They have a Cafe as well, didn’t try. But I wanted to try next time :)
Price of herbs and plants was good. And most of plant looks healthy!!!! 🤗 bit small garden space but they have all item what you needs. Big size of parking space 😬😬

A lovely garden centre that runs as a charitable organisation who put all their profits back into a wellbeing service they provide. A good range of plants and a nice friendly coffee shop.

The walled garden is worth walking around to view what is growing.

An under rated place to stop for coffee and cake then buy a few plants for the garden. Lunch or breakfast options are good. Always glad to support their work rather than a big commercial outlet. The recent refurbishment adds a lot. The new walled garden is a great place to sit for a coffee with space for the kids to run around. Good options for gluten free and vegan. Dog friendly. Recommended.

We had an hour to kill on Sunday, sadly we weren’t dressed for a muddy walk so took a look around this garden centre which I have to say was in fact, time well spent!
Lots of nice little bits and pieces for the home and garden, gifts, pottery, furniture etc
Ample car parking on site, there is also a walled garden which we didn’t visit.

Bought my first-ever Christmas tree there today. The whole place has a good atmosphere about it and I hope the staff are all well-looked after and happy working there because they were all absolutely lovely.

Great local garden centre and small cafe. Make sure you stop by to support this smaller businesses rather than the big commercial centres near by. Friendly staff and volunteers. Lovely tea & cake. Lots of free parking too.

It's run by a mental health charity, Richmond Fellowship, the cafe is run by a mixture of service users as part of their therapy, ex-service users who have continued there, either as volunteers or been taken on as paid employees and volunteers. It is a comfortable and relaxed space to enjoy a drink, good food and meeting up with friends. The garden centre has a good selection of plants, and they have a shop that stocks a great selection of cards, gifts and practical garden equipment. Definitely worth a visit. And if you are a walker or have a dog who needs a walk, Horton Country Park is nearby, then pop in to The Old Moat when you are done!

The Old Moat Garden Center is very lovely and quiet. They do freshly baked cakes and baked good at the cafe. Outside seats are available and private and not much if any road noise can be heard. The garden centre itself is not too large and offers everything you need.

This is a lovely garden centre to visit as everything is easily accessible. The staff and volunteers are very helpful and dedicated, everything you buy supports the fellowship which is a brilliant cause.
I am extremely thankful for there allowing dogs in policy during the pandemic. 5*

Been here so many times - before covid we used the cafe at least once a week. Used to take my little ones and read the free selection books whilst enjoying coffee and cake. It’s well priced too - good selection of plants and general lifestyle type stuff. I honestly think it’s the sort of place that would double it’s footfall if it doubled its size - people cherish this place and long may it continue

A unique and tranquil place to enjoy the delicious food served at the cafe, browse the plants and gifts of the shop or stroll around the vegetable garden. Caring, welcoming, knowledgeable staff. Vegan friendly, dog friendly, child friendly. An enjoyable, unhurried shopping experience, a rare gem of a place.

A small, charity run, garden centre with an excellent cafe. Obviously they can’t complete on range with the large commercial garden centres but they are very friendly, knowledgeable, and always have a good selection of seasonal bedding plants.

I have visited here twice in the last couple of weeks. It is a small garden centre but worth a visit as they have some lovely plants and other items for sale. Staff are very friendly. They deliver locally so if like me you don't drive it's handy to know. Can't say anything about the cafe as it is closed due to covid.
