Debated going here when we saw the menu, but it most definitely did not disappoint! Got the Brisket sandwich and side of onion rings, oh my god, best sandwich I’ve had for ages, will defo be back on our next trip!

The Cottage Loaf is built on the site of an old Bakehouse and Warehouse. When the original building was demolished some of the fixtures and fittings were used when the pub was built. The flooring and some of the timbers used were reclaimed giving the pub that old world atmosphere. Walking into the pub it’s hard to believe that the building is just over forty years old, as the attention to detail is fantastic. The pub has a wide variety of cask ales, ciders, lagers, spirits and cocktails. The staff are a delight and you are guaranteed a warm welcome. It is probably very wise to book a table if you’re thinking of eating as the restaurant is very popular with locals and visitors alike. The food served is cooked to perfection, very well presented and tastes wonderful. All in all a fantastic experience.

Great for vegans

Plenty of vegan options, starters, mains and desserts.

We had a traditional Sunday lunch with nut roast, and I had a roasted beetroot starter. All really tasty, good portions and reasonably priced.

The staff are very nice and knowledgeable.

The surroundings are classy, "olde worldy" country inn style.

Access is up a single step. There are some steps internally, but can be avoided. I didn't see a disabled toilet, but the normal toilets are accessed on the flat.

Highly recommended, we will continue to visit.

We chose the Cottage Loaf and were not disappointed. Even though it was busy and we had no reservations, we found a table for five quick. The wait staff was good. The beer selection was modest but found some to our liking. Lunch was great.

Proper pub in Llandudno just metres away from the town's awful Wetherspoons. A great selection of five real ales and a couple of ciders, with friendly service. A nice choice of beer gardens, front or back. Superb!

What a fantastic place. Two tiers at the front heading off to a back room. So eloquently decorated , big flag stones at the bar, heading up to decked second tier. Back room had a great looking fireplace. Nicely lit without being overpowering. Some great beers available. Nice pleasant music being piped through. Staff were friendly and helpful. What a great visit. Well worth a visit. Recommended.

Finally managed to get a table in here on our latest Llandudno visit and wasn't disappointed.

Place is simply stunning
York stone paved pub
Great selection of real ales
Extensive range of bottle beers
Spotlessly clean toilets
Staff who obviously enjoy working there
Two beer gardens
And OMG the food, is absolutely top drawer, no wonder it's took us so long to get a table, can only describe it as the best pub food I've had, tasty, well presented and hearty. Then when you combine that against the cost of the meal, you really are getting a cracking deal. Two starters, two mains and two pints was £61, and well worth every penny.

Will definitely be booking ahead to get in here on any of my future Llandudno visists

This was really nice, food was terrific, good choices of nibbles, starters and mains, offering some gluten free and vegetarian options as well. It does get very busy, I was advise pre-booking, we ate late afternoon and were lucky to get a table. Nice selection of beers and wines with a monthly wine specials board. The food we had was really tasty, hot and moreish! We definitely go back. There is some seating outside but not lots that I could see. Very quaint and cosy inside, worth a visit.

Friends recommended The Cottage Loaf so we visited for Sunday lunch. The vegan options of beetroot and vegan mozzarella arancini with chilli jam and crispy kale, nut roast and chocolate orange tart were absolutely delicious. The food was hearty and satisfying and so tasty we left clean plates. Well done to the chef team. The place itself is lovely, great atmosphere and so cosy and warm on a cold December day. Highly recommended.

Busy and cosy, our lunch at the Cottage Loaf was excellent. Really tasty and fresh, quickly served on a bustling Wednesday lunchtime. We chose Sea Bream on a bed of risotto and Scampi, with fries and minted pea, both from the light bites menu and delicious. We followed with a shared salted caramel, apple and cinnamon bread and butter pudding, with custard. One of the best pub lunches I've ever had !
Great selection of drinks and real ale (I had Dark Side of the Moose - wonderful, from Porthmadog just up the road).

Brilliant old pub , off the beaten track, tucked hidden around the back of Llandudno, though only 10 minutes walk from the seafront. Good menu and service, lovely arrangements of hanging baskets and flowers at the front.
Generous portions , quick service, heated outdoor seating. Can well recommend.

Lovely little cottage pub nestled in Llandudno. Really lovely, friendly and helpful staff who surprised my mum with a celebratory ice cream as she’d just finished her course of radiotherapy. Food was beautiful too. Thank you everyone especially to the lady with long dark hair in a ponytail (I think she was the manager) xx

Lovely little pub, very cozy atmosphere with a lot of original features. Staff are welcoming and can't do enough for you. Great selection of beers and lagers. 2 beer gardens. One looks over a public cR park.
