Thai Canteen

An amazing place for Thai food in Ealing! The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making every visit enjoyable. Their green curry and pad Thai are absolutely delicious.

This place is lovely. Really tasty curries that are thick and have a nice coconut flavour. I got the Thai green and the massaman curry which was very flavourful and big portions. Thai green curry has a nice kick to it. The pad Thai is also very tasty.

Would definitely recommend ordering one of the curries - the sauce is sumptuous, thick and flavourful, not watered down at all. I had the street food noodle soup dish (yen-ta-fore), which I enjoyed but probably wouldn't reorder.

Came across this restaurant and the food did not disappoint. The food was delicious, fresh and authentic. I usually never get any soup but their Tom Yum soup (shrimp) was amazing. I’d recommend to get the spicy beef, its so good with rice. Would definitely go here again 😍

I am here now. Just ate my fried rice with pork and prawn. Quite nice. So is the green tea. The service is still excellent. So is the ambience. Wonderful.

I ate here many years ago and did not go back until now because the padthai i had was way too salty.

But last night chilli oil fried rice with beef was just wonderful. Good size portion, moist and not too spicy. A few more slices of cucumber would have added a bit more balance to the dish.

The Thai fish cake was good too, although the size of each fish cake was smaller than those served in Thai restaurants in Asia.

Service was excellent. So was the ambience. I will patronise this restaurant often from now here.

Very delicious and cozy place. I like the beautiful Thai store keeper, she is so pretty and gorgeous! I ll come for more times with friends for foods and desserts! Thai beer is the best!

We enjoyed our meal tonight, the staff are all welcoming and friendly. The food never dissapoint us. Portions are good for such a reasonable price.

Staff is client friendly and focused, you get fast service and the food is very good,every is made on spot and not reheated in a microwave.
If you can't eat a spicy dish they can do it for the client taste.
I totally recommend it ,is nice cosy restaurant not a Canteen at all.

Don’t mislead by their restaurant name. It’s totally not like a canteen, on the contrast, with decent decorations (nice music, beautiful Thai painting….very cosy)I have been to this restaurant regularly ( at least once a week) Super nice staff, warm welcoming, food is authentic Thai taste. Very yummy. If you like more hot and spicy taste, ask the staff to provide you the chilli power which is directly imported from Thailand. Lunch set with drinks ( included beer) under amazing price, that’s why keep me coming back. The fried noodle is the best in Ealing Boardway!

Omg, we didn’t want to try last time as we looked inside and doesn’t feel tempting… this time we gave it a try and order takeaway and was blown away!!!!!!
Food was sooooo good and the staff there they all speak Thai….
I had the fried baby squid and it was excellent with light batter and a lovely wasabi/mustard Mayo, that’s a surprise. The Tom Kha was okay but the pork knuckle rice!!!! The best I have ever had!!!!!! It was sooooooo good! Even my kids was asking for more and more!
Will eat again today at lunch! And at dinner 😂

They accidentally took the wrong order with 2 pork rice instead of 1, but it was okay as my kids loved it too and we finished everything in no time.

Such a good place!! I never even thought of trying it, the food tastes actually authentic and so good! The dishes were all great and we tried multiple when we went, the staff are so sweet and were so considerate, they came up to us and mentioned what some of our order would taste like in case we were unsure about liking it, they were very thoughtful to us throughout the whole time there. The Thai Ice Tea is totally worth trying by the way!! It was all really lovely and we will definitely be coming back again- Thank you!

Incredibly friendly staff, they explained the meal we were ordering and asked to make sure we were okay with it! We were also provided with the recipe to make thai iced tea, which was very nice of them considering they didn't have to do this.

The food was exceptional, we were not expecting it to be any different from other thai restaurants but it wowed us! Tasted authentic, had amazing presentation and was just all-round enticing/tasty.

Would absolutely come back 10/10 😍

Nice quiet place. I had the lunch special Yen Ta Fo (pink noodle soup with fish ball/seafood), which came with a beer or soft drink. Tasty and reasonably priced. Staff were very friendly too.

Good place for Thai food catering for the adults and kids. Good evening with a group of 12 - well looked after by the hosts and the food was great. We should be visiting soon again.

Best Thai Restaurant ever! Hands down, they even have Thai tea, authentic to taste. Feels like I'm back in Thailand with every bite, highly recommend, see you next time when I come.

We went for lunch here on Saturday. I ordered spicy beef. It was amazing. Loved it. Spicy so not for people who can’t handle spicy food. My wife ordered green curry and I tried a bit and it was delicious. Friendly great service

Just had an amazing Thai meal with Nora Fuertes Fox in Ealing Broadway at the Thai Canteen. We had Chicken Penang Curry with Coconut Rice x 2, Beef Noodle Soup, Papaya Salad, Diet Coke x 2, Banana Fritters with Vanilla ice cream. The curry and rice was so lovely we ordered it again 😀
