Oh My 😊 What a bunch of amazing Ladies. Totally on the ball and now my new Barbers after my 1st visit thee other week. Service with a happy smile, good conversation and the prices I felt half wrong paying if I'm honest, as the price was amazing cheap. I can see why this place is always busy. I can't recommend the place enough. See you all next time amazing Ladies.

Minimal wait times if you choose the right time of day. Pleasant staff that know what they are doing and give good quality value cuts. Perfectly reasonable to be in and out within 15 minutes on a good day for a simple gents cut. Been using for many, many years.

I would highly recommend going here if you are after a friendly and speedy cut. It is a sit and wait style Barbers but you're not normally waiting long. It has the best price in town.

Always go here for my hair cut. Never been dissatisfied. Staff always friendly and welcoming - even to me an 85 year old.

So pleased with the cut I got today at Modern Barbers by Shelley! I came in with a very messy long haircut not dissimilar to that of Shaggy from Scooby Doo and came out looking professional.

I asked for shorter back and sides whilst keeping length on top, I showed a photo and Shelley went to work from there giving me the exact cut I asked for. Halfway through I changed my mind and asked for a fade and at this point Shelley could have just gone for it, but instead took time to explain that with the length on top this might look a bit off and that a blend may work far better. By the end of the cut I am so grateful she made this suggestion as the haircut looks perfect and is easy to style in the way I want. (Had I gone for the fade I may have ended up looking like a peaky blinder, but instead now I have a more natural look that definitely fits my style.)

This place was recommended to me by a friend and am very glad I took their advice! Very friendly, and absolutely stunned by the value price of £6.50 for a gents cut. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick haircut that offers options.

Went in today for a cut , must admit it was one of th best cuts I have ever had . Emma who did it was brilliant and took time and care to get it exactly how I wanted it. 10/10

Pleasant environment with pleasant experience.

Generally a good and very inexpensive barber. I only ever have a tight short back and sides.
Nothing fancy that any barber can do.
So this place suits me fine .why pay double the price elsewhere for the same cut ? .

An excellent cut, as always. Much better than the people that advertise themselves as "Real barbers" in town.
Cheapest in town, friendliest ladies and an all-round great experience.

I regularly take my girls here for their haircuts. Everyone is lovely and friendly and do a great job, even after my daughter took scissors to her own hair they managed to salvage it

Always use this place they really are very good, don't be put off by how cheap they are these ladies know what they're doing.
They are all great however I request Emma she's a G when it comes to cutting Men's hair

They cut hair very well very cheaply, not sure what else to say other than they are also extremely accommodating with autistic children, my daughter doesn't like going anywhere else for hair cuts now which is a blessing as previously this would have been "meltdown" territory.
