Lookout Cafe

First time visiting today and I can reassure you it won’t be the last! The food was divine; I had the mac and cheese loaded fries and they were delicious and well priced. I had a caramel latte too, it was also well priced and genuinely one of the best lattes I’ve ever had. Even had to get one to take away! The atmosphere was lovely and the service was perfect. The staff are so polite and welcoming. Five stars all around!

Amazing time....maybe its was the view or finishing a night shift....but yeah the atmosphere was awesome, until it got busy...then noisy....I guess when it gets warmer it would be gorgeous sitting outside in the sun 🌞 ... Hot chocolate very yummy had too much froth and less fluid was given a replacement, - so great customer service, full breakfast delicious, scrambled egg okay but a bit too dry for my personal preference, also had smashed avocado with poached eggs and added smoked salmon...my fault should have delayed the delivery has by time I got around to eating it was cold... possible change to black pepper to give a bit more bite and taste.... overall a nice experience.

Food and service a bit meh, but you are coming here for the location anyways, and what a location that is.

Finish your breakfast/ lunch and take a stroll around the edges because the view is something else!

(Parking could be a problem if you show up late....)

Lunch on a sunny day, with family. The loaded chips were lovely and plenty of them. The gourmet burger was delicious and the teas and the fruit smoothies went down very well. An ideal place to eat and relax in an informal setting....with great views over the bay!

Great service, amazing views over the sea, ample indoor and outdoor seating, dog friendly, extensive menu, tasy food!

Lovely cafe with a view. Big grassy lawn with outdoor picnic benches. You can also eat in the enclosed outdoor area if it's too windy. There's also indoor seating with toilets onsite.

I love this place. We come here all the time and they never disappoint. I was worried when they said there was a change of ownership but it’s still the same great staff, great food and great service. We got there at 9.30 and I thought they were closed but a lovely lady came out and told us to come in. Our food was served really quickly and was lovely and fresh. Coffee is really good. The service was warm and friendly. Even had a giggle with the lady who served us about not eating our tomatoes (you had to be there). We finished with a beautiful walk over the top of bowleaze cove. It’s one of the best views in Dorset as far as I’m concerned. Well worth a visit and great if you have dogs xx

Wonderful breakfast and cafe is clean and fresh and looks brilliant. The staff are happy and helpful and the menu is very tasty. The one thing which has remained the same is the view and that's no bad thing as it's beautiful. Great place for children and dogs, especially when the sun's out.

Have been to Weymouth many many times, but this is a lovely spot for breakfast, which is what we stopped for. End of May half term and clear beautiful sunny day. Food was prompt and well presented, set up for a good day along the front.
Lunch menu available, but didn't try that so no comments.
Well worth the walk for the scenic views of the Jurassic coastline

AMAZING! For such small cafe, the food is tasty and freshly prepared. Lovely atmosphere and the staff are very friendly and polite. Great place to stop after a walk to chill out. Highly recommend.

Great location overlooking Weymouth Bay.We regularly walk along the coast from Weymouth to the Lookout cafe(about 2.9 miles) and look forward to a nice cup of coffee & slice of cake.Very good range of hot or cold food available and plenty of seating both inside or out.The staff are very friendly and polite.Definitely worth the visit.

Lovely cafe, had the best pancakes and vegan as well! Really nice view over Weymouth and doggy friendly in the balcony bit. Food was served quickly and service was great.

An absolute gem of a place . Whilst on a few days break we used this place 3 times . Meals were fantastic . Cake good . Coffee good . We have always loved Weymouth and Bowleaze Cove . This cafe is well recommended

Best breakfast in Weymouth and its not even close. Between us we had eggs royale, scrambled eggs and eggs Benedict. Along with that all had hot drinks, everything tasted great and freshly made. Staff are very friendly, it does get very busy and would recommend if bringing children to bring things to keep them entertained. The area around the cafe is nice and has a beautiful view of rhe coastline.

Cute cafe on the cliff top, very popular and friendly. Lots of outdoor table and benches. Had a coffee which was super hot and fruit scone. All nice.

Amazing!!!! You would not think from the outside what's inside. Had a very lovely breakfast on a sunny Saturday December morning. Lovely views, very covid secure, some ppl enjoyed a coffee on the sun deck. Ordered a full english, eggs benedict and blueberry pancakes with a pot of earl grey, extra mushrooms and a delicious gingerbread latte for £29. The staff was very friendly and the food came so super quick within 5 mins!! Very tasty too!

Brilliant food! And thank you for catering for plant-based eaters!!! I had the vegan breakie (which anyone would love) and it was tasty gorgeous! My friends had teacake and the sweet potato and chorizo hash(not sure if thats the right name!). We had a dog so sat outside but it wasnt too cold, service was great and lovely to have the 2 resident dogs wandering about outside, they have such a lovely nature. We have visited loads from Bridport and we will always keep coming back for the food and the views!
