Chelsfield Park Hospital

Highly recommend this private hospital. From start to finish the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. I was a day patient and rather nervous about the surgery but they made me feel such at ease.
I was even offered a full meal (and they kindly sorted something for my mother too as we'd been there for hours). Great choice of food.
Very spacious and comfortable room to myself.
Huge special thanks to: Edmund (and his team!), Nick, Sally, Sue and Hazel (sure I've forgotten others but I was a bit drugged 😆). I had lots of laughs which was wonderful therapy post op!! Thank you 🙏

I cannot praise the staff more highly nurses Sally and Hazel met me and showed me to my room. I was taken down to Theatre were I met the surgical team. I was made to feel very comfortable and reassured. The procedure was explained prior, during and post surgery. Outstanding!

From the moment I arrived, to the moment I left, I felt incredibly well looked after and was given the utmost comfort, care and reassurance by all staff involved.
All staff I interacted with were kind, professional and went to every effort to ensure I had whatever I needed and felt comfortable and safe at all times. Nothing was too much trouble and I can’t praise this hospital and it’s wonderful team enough - from the reception to the surgeon to the nurses and doctors, to the catering team providing lovely meals, to the recovery and anaesthetic teams - they are all round wonderful people who should be very proud of themselves for doing such a hardworking job and doing it amazingly well. Thank you so much! A top 5* and 10/10 from me.

Big thank you to Mr Shah, specialist Nurse Ann, Nurse Charlotte Hutton, Hazel, the lovely lady on the ward Lynne, the catering staff Tracey, Barbara, Dr Beni, Peter and every other staff member who helped me during my 2 stays here. Although I was scared and worried, every member of the team here worked hard to make sure I stayed calm felt comfortable and laughed! Lovely staff and very nice clean quiet room. More importantly the food was delicious with a lot to chose from. Highly recommended!

Wonderful experience at the hospital for my knee op. The doctors, nurses and physios were very friendly, supportive, caring and patient. Truly great people. A special mention to Sue and Hazel who took extra care with me, and Gill for walking me through the post-op rehab, they are a credit to their profession and the hospital.

Can't rate this private hospital enough, it is second to none, from arrival to departure my daughter Gabriella was really well looked after, the nurses are very friendly, genuinely warm, polite, informative, and really helpful, as was everyone working there, (especially Anne-Marie and her trainee), they were very patient too with our tons of questions! My daughter was lucky enough to be under the expert hands of Dr Lee, (one of the top stand out consultants in his field) who was compassionate, genuinely caring and who explained everything in minute detail and who allayed any fears she had, especially given her age, the same went for all members of staff who came into contact and dealt with my daughter. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and nothing was too much trouble for anyone working there really, food was great too, I can't fault it at all - 5* for a 5* hospital

Sscond op here in a few months and again a wonderful experience. From the warm greeting at the front desk when we arrived early on Sunday morning, the admittance process and then the care from all the team (special shout out to Sheila my nurse for the day who was a star) oh and the post op food which was lovely. You never want to have to have an operation but can’t think of anywhere else I’d rather go for one.

Tracy from the catering has done an excellent job at being empathetic to my needs. All of the nurses were lovely and caring.

I had a routine apt at the hospital today - I was greeted by a receptionist called Tina extremely polite and helpful she confirmed my appointment and advised that my consultant was on schedule, she advised I could help myself to coffee and I would be called shortly.

After my appointment with my consultant - a very down to earth engaging and informative gentleman, I spoke to Wendy on reception - again extremely helpful and courteous lady who arranged a 8 week follow up appointment. The experience was smooth, to time and straightforward - thank you all.

We were recently seen at the Chelfield Park for a surgery and I wanted to take this opportunity to thank Nurse Sasha who had been exceptionally wonderful throughout the process. Not only did she guide us over phone on what to expect before the surgery but very warmly welcomed us, reassured us and lightened our moods on the day. She even followed up with enquiries afterwards and went the extra mile to put us in touch with the consultant and arrange a follow up with him. She even warmly accommodated her time to do the dressing when we returned the following day. Nurse Sasha is easily one of the best nurses we have met. I would also like to thank her colleague Nurse Stephanie who was also wonderfully warm and caring on the day. We had a brilliant experience and we need more staff like Sasha and Stephanie who define what care means and assure us that we are in best hands. For a positive patients experience, the consultants and doctors are important, but equally so are the nurses. Thank you so very much - you truly are the best!!

From the moment I arrived to when I left, the staff were amazing and I was made to feel so relaxed and comfortable, I was treated with such respect and dignity throughout my stay. The staff were wonderfully attentive, especially Ann Marie. From reception, porters, catering, cleaning, nurses, anaesthetist, surgeon, etc...everyone was fantastic and made my hospital stay a very pleasant experience. Wonderful staff, wonderful hospital.

I had an operation just before Christmas and very thankful to Mr Prashant Purohit who is outstanding, extremely knowledgeable, down to earth, and took his time to make sure that I understand my procedure and the whole process. His exceptional care, coming to check on me after surgery, friendly, he is the best. I highly recommend Mr Purohit.
Also thanks to the anaesthetist and his team who were reassuring, helped me feel at ease and took care of me during the procedure.
A big shout out to Sheila, Ann Marie, Shara, the night nurse, recovery team and all those who took care of me.

We cannot thank Tracey and Nicky enough for the amazing care they gave to us all when our 4 year old son had his Tonsils out yesterday. They both were so kind and caring to us and Charlie with a follow up call today at exactly the time they promised. Once again thank you ladies so much it was the best experience we have had in hospital and so glad we got you both on the day. You both are a massive credit to Chelsfield Park Hospital.

Excellent hospital with a family atmosphere, extremely professional staff. During my recent day case surgery I was well cared for and well fed! All staff were friendly and genuinely care, making sure I was comfortable and my needs were met. This place feels like half hotel, half hospital and would recommend to all.
Dr Melia made me feel at ease and communicated everything to me at all times. The theatre team were fantastic, as were the house keeping and nursing staff throughout my stay

I had a day procedure at Chelsfield Park Hospital yesterday and I had two wonderful nurses to care for me. Aichen and Sheila. I could not rate them highly enough. I also had another lovely nurse, whose name I think was Sharon. Both my consultant Ms K Omar, and my anaethetist, Nick, were great too.

Excellent care, especially (my outsider's view, only being there for several hours over 2 days) from Sheila and Sarah. Their patent experience, kindliness tempered with a no- nonsense approach to the tasks in hand and thorough good-humour made his stay a great deal less unpleasant than it might have been.
Of course, those who passed in and out doing their duties; doctors, nurses, etc. were also very good and tirelessly upbeat. Not a grim face in sight!
If I did emojis, there would be a line of happy faces.
May I stay a day to test-drive and enjoy the well-balanced, toothsome food on offer!

Job for the Maintenance Team.

Shower in ward 102 looks fine - all nice and clean. But from the inside, once the door has been slid shut, one sees that the silicone (whatever!) has badly perished and water gains free access to under the shower pod floor. Nice for fungi! Dive in chaps and get it sorted but not a la the railways!

All Staff involved with my treatment were amazing, with a stand-out mention for Sue (my Nurse for the day). Sue was outstanding, very friendly and helpful, made me feel at ease and looked after me brilliantly. I can thank her enough! My overall experience was superb. Thanks to you all x

I was admitted for a day procedure and was looked after really well. Annmarie was my appointed nurse and she is very loving, caring and gentle with me throughout the time I spent there.

I am a patient of Chelsfield, but chose to have hernia surgery at a closer group hospital to me. Every appointment Chelsfield hospital has been smooth, and the staff are helpful and friendly. Mr Shamsi El Hasani explains the procedure in detail, takes the time to discuss any concerns and visited after my procedure and the morning after. Aichen was my main nurse when I had surgery, she is so caring, friendly and goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. Would 100% recommend. I would not think twice about having another procedure here inn the future if needed.

I had the operation two weeks ago and my follow up appointment yesterday. I’m already feeling stronger and looking forward to returning to my usual life rhythm soon.
Huge thanks to Ms Ritu Rana for taking care of my condition with her professional and caring approach throughout the whole investigation, treatment, operation and follow up.
I’m so grateful for the nurse Anna, who made me feel so welcome and cared for during my stay at the hospital, she is an absolute professional and a marvellous nurse.
Great thanks also to the anaesthetist Dr Nick and his team for their cheerfulness, reassurance and for taking care of me during the operation.
