Broadgate Cycles

Fantastic local family run business, I've been buying bikes and parts from them on and off for maybe 20 years now. They seem to be doing a good job of keeping a variety of stock in despite the national shortages of bikes and parts. Picked up my son's new bike from Broadgate today and couldn't be happier with the build quality and service!

Edit/Update: After the original help and service, they also tuned up my bicycle and did some modifications for me. Everything was done well, and at a fair price. Couldn't ask for much better help and service. Definitely recommended.

First class service from Dave and his lad at this family firm. Spent over £6000 here and it was a very easy transaction. Would recommend these in the blink of an eye. The Gazelle Grenoble C5 HMD bikes are excellent.

Bought a few bikes from Dave over the years and called in today with a gearing issue. I know they have been extremely busy in lockdown and the knock on effect that Covid has had on supplies of spares etc. Expected a bit of a wait to be fixed , but Dave managed to turn it round during the day for me. Excellent service as ever.

Extremely helpful, friendly shop. Purchased a bike with all accessories, 100% happy with the bike and service I recieved. Taken daughters wheel to be repaired, again fast friendly and reasonably priced. 10/10 always 1st choice over halfords etc for the added customer service. 👍

I've used this shop for years but don't know the staff personally. As my wife and I are self isolating I emailed to asked if they could deliver a repair kit, expecting them to be too busy for just a £1.99 sale. Not only did Dave deliver the kit, he did not charge me & gave a sample of the PARK's no glue repair patches. My review is: could not do better, fast response to emails, did go above and beyond the call of duty, true community spirit in hard times. 100% recommended. Martin L

I purchased exactly the mud guards I was after on a busy Saturday afternoon and was helped to fit a new rack, as well. Didn't charge for the work. Very helpful staff. I went back for new rear light later the same day. Would recommend. Thank you.

Just taken delivery of a Lapierre gravel e bike, superb price and excellent service from both Daves. Nothing too much trouble, best bike shop in Lancashire.

They be a great bike shop they did my front wheel cost £15.00 today after a car bite my went over the front of the car flying over on to the road the driver did not stop very long he should have paid the money for a new front wheel cost me £45.00 last week good job I did not have to get a new bike wheel they are very good bike shop in penwortham 🙂👍🚵‍♂

In all the years that I have lived in the Preston area we have bought 9 bikes and on each occasion the service is second to none.

People are very quick to criticise and very slow to praise but you won't find a better independent bike shop in or around the area.

A little out the way, but well worth visiting. These guys are helpful and knowledgeable; from parts, kit, service to full bikes. They will try their best to get you what you want and they will not rip you off. Been a few times recently when home servicing my bikes and they got all the stuff I needed without selling me stuff I dont.

Great choices of top quality bikes. The staff know their stuff and are very helpful. Good prices too
