Little Indian Chef

Beautiful restaurant set way back off the road behind a petrol station. Lovely venue, staff and food. Was really pleased to see the menu catered for food allergies and intolerances. Good atmosphere and made to feel welcome and special 😁
On my last visit a year later, they served up food on a lazy suzy. Very cute looking and just enough as a meal. I'm not a big eater but that was just enough for us.

If I could give it 10 I would. Food was beautiful, one of the best chicken Balti’s I’ve ever had, so much flavour and tender quality chicken. Food is served hot and fresh, very clean restaurant been done out very well. Staff very friendly. Visited whilst on holiday so sadly won’t be returning until next year!

Lovely place, excellent staff and amazing food. Not sure where the reviews about food being bland came from(?) We’ve dined at many Indian restaurants and the food here really stood out to us! Will definitely come again should we holiday here in the future!

It's a Little Chef that's now an Indian, what's not to love? Service was a little slow but they were rushed off their feet and very apologetic. They were very good about changing ingredients to vegan too. Food was delicious!

Nice take away, plenty of flavor and tastes. Bit expensive and loads more chicken than lamb in the mixed dish. Again, only a takeaway review not a dine in and I'd happily have it again as a takeaway. I'd also be happy to have a dine in as it looked like a nice place with plenty of staff helping. Recommended to give it a go.

We decided to have a takeaway, it was fantastic, the tastes were delicious, very quick service and great value. We will be using Little Indian Chef any time we want an Indian meal. Can highly recommend.

Great place to eat, really friendly staff and very nice food.

I live very close to what is regarded locally as the best Indian restaurant in Portsmouth, however whilst on holiday I ordered a take away from the little Indian chef restaurant and would have to say it knocks spots off our home Indian. The food was fantastic. My chicken tikka starter was delicately spiced, succulent and moist and tasted superb, my main chicken Mumbai was spicy without too much heat and balanced with the flavoursome pilau rice really well. My wife who is very fussy with Indian food really enjoyed her korma and saag paneer. Even the naan, chapati and popadums were tasty and fresh. I only wish I didn’t live 300 miles away.

The food was incredible! Maybe a liitle expensive but the food was seriously good. The layout was great, booth-type seating around the edge with circular table in the middle and additional seating as you come in to your left.

Really nice food. We got a takeaway, the man who took our order was very polite and nice. The takeaway was really nice, chicken was lovely and the rice. Will be returning, thank you.

We were in a road trip and were hungry and just happened on this place! Amazing service and food! Shaf is one amazing waiter! Kayden was super kind and sat us even though we didn’t book! Food is fresh and so super tasty! you can’t go wrong!

Called in tonight and I couldn’t fault the place, the decor is lovely and the food was delicious, staff were very pleasant and polite, the only criticism I could say is that the portions were too big so didn’t have room for a dessert🤣
I would highly recommend and I will certainly be visiting again.

It was my first time hear tonight and I've been dying to try it for some time. It didn't disappoint, the food was 5 star and if I could I'd give it more, friendly helpful staff in a lovely setting. I highly recommend

Went on the way to Porthmadog last night - one of the best currys ever!!! Chicken Ginger and Pasanda - amazing! Always try to have a dish I never had before. This out of the way Indian Restaurant is well worth a visit. The decor - the service and the food all top notch - don't let the location put you off

Amazing food and service, the best Indian food I ate in my entire life!

Four of us dinned whilst on holiday in the area. We all chose different meals and each one was delicious. One of our party asked for a dish to be cooked milder and they were very accommodating. Her meal was spot on. Our rice was cooked to perfection as was everything that we ordered. The staff were lovely and very friendly. The decor was beautiful and everywhere was very clean. We had a lovely time and would definitely eat there again if we holiday in the area again or pass through.
