The Hunters Pub & Dining

Lovely first visit here today as a belated Mother's Day treat with all the family. All the food and drinks were super tasty and so fresh. It was really nice that the kids' meals came out at a temperature that they could eat straight away, not bubbling hot like some places. The kids' portions were huge. I had the steak and ale pie. The beef in it was so tender. At our table, we also had the chicken and chorizo sword, which was another amazing choice. The thai beef curry was packed full of beef. The gammon was huge and very tasty. Our starters were also amazing.
When the bill came, we were surprised at how reasonable it was for the 8 of us.
Thank you to all the staff for being so attentive and helpful.

There are lots of different parts to this place with interesting deco so worth having a look around it before sitting down.

I have been here before but didn't review at the time but have a lovely meal then as well so it's a thumbs up from me.

Great food, we had a table of 6 plus a baby and the service ended up being a little bit confused, it took a couple of attempts to give us the correct meals, but the food was lovely and the portion sizes were good!

Awesome find. Called here for our sons 17th birthday treat with his 2 sisters. The food was amazing and well presented. All 5 meals served at the same time. The Steak sword for me , Chicken/chorizo sword for the wife. Birthday boy had Steak+ale pie, and the girls had Burgers. Service and staff really friendly and helpful. Will definitely be returning as I would say this is the best restaurant/food/service I've ever been to, I just hope they never change and let things slip.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Hunters Pub & Dining, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish! From the delectable food to the outstanding service, everything about this place exceeded my expectations.

To start off our meal, we indulged in the nachos and sweet fries, and they were absolutely delicious. The nachos were loaded with flavor, and the sweet fries were perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. They were the ideal appetizers to set the tone for the rest of our meal.

For our main course, we ordered the ribs and the Sunday roast. The ribs were a true delight, falling off the bone and smothered in a finger-licking BBQ sauce. The meat was so tender and flavorful, it was an absolute pleasure to savor each bite. The Sunday roast was equally impressive, with succulent meat and perfectly roasted vegetables. The portion sizes were generous, leaving us feeling completely satisfied.

Absolutely amazing food, I got the salt and pepper special and my mum got Lancashire cheese pie with chips and gravy. 10/10 food and service plus the inside looks really cool! Next time I’ll book the back room as it is hunter themed and looks awesome! Since I was a walk in I sat at the front which was still lovely

The pub looks great and a lot has money has been spent. We have now been twice and food and service was great.

Such a pleasant experience, the staff today were fantastic,polite and professional. The food was really good and all came out at once piping hot. Been coming to the hunters since it originally opened and this was probably my most favourite time. Thankyou.

Fab food and really friendly staff, stayed for drinks in the bar after our meal. Highly reccomend :)

My best friend and I had a lovely lunchtime meal at The Hunters to celebrate my friends birthday. The food was lovely, and the staff are friendly and helpful.

I was pleasantly surprised at this restaurant and pub. Staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, we really felt welcome. Looking at the menu and the prices, I wasn't expecting much. Just normal "order with your table number" type food.
I was amazed when the food arrived. Large portion, which was too much for me to eat (very rare for me!) The carrot and chilli soup was tasty with just enough burn to get the sniffles going. The beef dipper was massive and delicious. All for just over 9 quid!!!! The others at the table had an equally impressive experience.
I loved it so much I am now house Hunting (pun intended) in the area so that I can make this my local. Highly recommended 👌

Went for lunch after daughter recommended it. We both had the Winter Warmer of soup and a hot sandwich with a side of chips between us. Staff were lovely, food was fantastic and we will definitely be back.

What an absolute gem! We stopped here on a whim for some dinner on our way to the Lake district.

Staff were friendly, and the food was 10 out of 10. Most of all, this place is just oozing with character! There's so many unique parts of this pub you don't know where to look. It's a shame we live so far away as this would be the new local!

We would highly recommend. Definitely visiting again soon. The restaurant/pub is amazing and unique. The food wss high quality and delicious, compliments to the chef. Staff were welcoming and very professional. All round great atmosphere.

Great place to watch football and have a family meal . Ticks all boxes and great atmosphere. Reece manager extremely helpful and a delight. May remember us from New Year’s Eve.

Called in as passing the area and it was dinner time. Above and beyond expectations...Absolutely fantastic! Best Sunday roast and burger we have ever had!

Food is always good here. Unfortunately the last time I ate there, there was a few problems with the order. But it was rectified fairly quickly

Was really nice we enjoyed our meals, only issue football was on speaker was quite loud where we was sat but can't complain was a very enjoyable eveing

Had a second visit was not disappointed from friendly service to great food, will be back to sample different dishes

The food has never disappointed us. Always of good quality and well presented. The staff are very nice. The place itself is very comfortable and warm. We've booked for boxing day as usual.
