Lovely staff, always super friendly and super efficient working both on the post office and in the Spar itself. Always well stocked and nice and tidy.

They have used the space available to accommodate covid restrictions. Staff friendly and helpful. Stock is plentiful and post office services available.

Excellent service and always informative

Small store but packed full of dry, fresh & frozen foods as well as many non foods. Great selection of beers and spirits and always great deals to be had. Staff here are all fantastic and friendly. Only 4 stars as the post office counter is closed half days Wednesday. As a local business sending parcels, this is a real inconvenience. Otherwise a great convenience store.

It's always been a good Spar I think, well stocked, clean and friendly but during this pandemic, some of the staff have gone power crazy, blunt and bossy! It's embarrassing and I think they please themselves a bit concerning consistency of opening time, closures, Post Office closures.
The Covid layout is messy, people aren't sure what to do, or what to expect from this place.
I was speaking to a lady outside and she felt exactly the same.

Staff are always miserable, always a problem with either the shop itself or the post office. It was the worst thing that ever happened putting the post office in the spar, the staff don’t know what there are doing properly and they always have ‘faye’ on the post office till who if she went any slower she would stop, the women has zero manners and people skills. This women should either be filling the shelves or not working there at all, I dread going in there if she’s on because a quick 5 minute trip turns into half an hour of waiting around for her to do a simple job.

The post office is a joke, they open and close when they please, don't stick to their opening times, also its shut often on Saturdays coz someone perhaps cannot be arsed to come to work

Bought a milk with expiry date 01/09/21 today, took home and gave to my children. To my disgust, the milk was gone off! It's disappointing that they sell items like that which could easily cause food poisoning. Buyers need to be careful in buying perishable items that are nearing expiry date. Haven't had such experience in other supermarket. Not SPAR again.

Absolutely terrible service off you’re under the age of 18. Staff there seem to turn their noses up at minors and not give them the same treatment as they would to other people. Today I asked if I could have a bag for my things and was nothing but polite, however instead of putting the stuff in the bag for me as they do with everyone else, she just put it all in a basket, put a bag on top, and pushed it towards me. It’s just rude and I feel like I’m being bullied, which is not the treatment that I want to be receiving from my local spar.
