Great guy. Great instructor.
Really helped me with my grip, swing and connection with the golf ball.
Explains the process well. Leaves you with lots to practice.

Had a lesson from Rhod yesterday. He was able to diagnose a few issues with my swing and explained a few simple changes that will really help with consistency. Would recommend for anyone wanting to improve their golf.

Rhodri identified my 40 year old bad habits very quickly and has given me clear strategies to improve. One to one tuition well delivered and the tech was excellent.I definitely recommend him.

Had my first lesson with Rhodri at RG Golf Academy and couldn't fault the overall experience. Rhodri himself is very experienced and took no time to identity the issues I was having with my swing and set up which having put it to practice at the range today I could see massive improvements in such a short time. I'm not always in the area myself however I will definitely be booking future appointments when possible.

Rhodri has a great knack of diagnosing swing problems with a combination of evidence from the technology and simple observation. The best thing about his method is he's straight into giving you the right drills to fix your issues. Scores have improved and he's helped me renew my vows with the game I love..

Rhodri has over the last few weeks transformed my game, he breaks the swing down with no nonsense talk and makes it very simple to understand with the technology analysis. He uses specific drills that need you to work at them, to get you on the right swing path. Makes you feel relaxed, golf is hard enough when you are learning, Rhodri breaks it down and it becomes easier and more understandable, which in turn makes the golf round so much more enjoyable and that's what its all about after all, but you have to work at it, it wont just come. 5 stars all round.

Rhodri is IMO quite different in his approach in that he teaches the golfer he has there with him. It’s bespoke teaching that is tuned specifically to what he quickly diagnoses from both watching your current aim, set up, swing, resulting ball flight etc. He sees what’s needed, gives a personalised way to get there by adding just the right “drill” to let your body “get it”. If the drill he picked wasn’t feeling spot on to him, he just nimbly switched to the drill that did the job.
He also tunes in and adapts his training approach to the individuals personality and he certainly matched his teaching approach to my learning style. I bet he would adapt his approach / explanations / drills etc in order to match how you will learn and improve best.

Really, can’t recommend the man more highly

The new swing I’m on the verge of “getting” isn’t like a swing has ever felt until my 3rd lesson with Rhodri. It’s almost somehow effortless and … it’s a swing … who knew ?!… it’s actually a swing that you almost set up and allow to happen… impossible to put into words - go and see for yourself

I’m very much enjoying my lessons with Rhodri. Having golfed for many years with little or no instruction the bad habits and faults have crept in. Rhodri balances his coaching using radar tech and observation. Having identified the areas of concern he introduces practical advice and drills to help me rectify the errors. Highly recommend!

Sound guy, quality lessons. Gets straight to the point. Like having a lesson off a mate who is a hundred times better than you are. In 6 lessons I've changed my grip,swing,path and release. Mixes up analysis and practice with modern and old school methods. Highly recommended
My son is having lessons now also.
4 months later still going. Improved massively and my 14 yr old son is catching me up. I look forward to the lessons. I'm actually putting the ball where I want it now with decent accuracy. Rhodri shown me a side by side photo of 1st and latest lesson..wow serious changes

It is worth booking a lesson with Rhodri. I have been going to see Rhodri for some time now. I feel I have improved my game and knowledge of my golf swing. The drills are very helpful. Improving my golf game is what matters to me. Its really worth booking a course of lessons with Rhodri.

Recently had both hips replaced wouldn't play on course swing was that bad. Rhodri had me swinging great after one lesson. Can return to course again. will follow up with further lessons in the future. Thanks Rhodri

Rhodri is an incredible teacher who really knows how to make things work and click for the individual. So knowledgeable and always there to offer help and support when it’s needed. Scores continue to get better after every lesson 💯

1 lesson with,Rhodri and i feel like a different golfer..He is clear and direct in his approach,full of knowledge and very approachable..He custom fit me for my new ping irons too! Very happy and would highly recommend..Matt the junior coach was very good with my son also.

Rhodri is a brilliant teaching professional who helped me achieve a single figure handicap many years ago. It was only my lack of practice that stopped me achieving a lower handicap than 8 under his guidance. I'm revisiting Rhodri after many years away from the game to get close to single figures again. Shop, range and staff are first class!

Had a great 1st lesson today, really helpful and informative feedback. Learnt a lot to improve my game will be returning for another lesson.

I've had two lessons with Rhodri now, and my golfing ability has improved massively, I was a complete beginner and after just a couple of lessons I'm already confident to play on the course without embarrassing myself.

A great driving range with quality golf balls. Also a friendly environment for everyone. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend lessons with Rhodri as my handicap was 13 when I started lessons it is now 7.
