Cannot praise the team enough. I was seen to quickly and everything was explained in depth. Staff are very professional and effective.

I have to say the care that I have received here has been outstanding and has probably saved my sight. I had to receive care from the cornea specialists, and they have gone above and beyond to help me get on top of my condition and enable me to drive again and not be in so much pain on a daily basis. Thank you so much to Ms Hulpus and her excellent team, I am eternally grateful to you all.

After having a really bad experience with cataract surgery on my right eye (at a different hospital) which went wrong and needed two further operations at St Pauls Eye Hospital in Liverpool to put right, I was certainly not looking forward to having my left eye done. However, the team at the Stanley Eye Unit were amazing. Everything from the preliminary assessments through to the actual operation was done professionally by reassuring, friendly staff who put my mind at rest. On the day of the operation, I was in and out within 3 hours and could see perfectly after 24 hours. I have nothing but praise for these wonderful people and our hard working NHS.

My husband was seen straight away. Staff were friendly, put you at ease. Sorted his eye out. Couldn't believe how quick they dealt with patients here. He was waiting hours at glan clwyd a and e the night before.

Lovely hospital Lovely staff, the staff are friendly and helpful ýou get seen quickly for all your tests, the doctors are good they explain everything in detail to you so you understand. This hospital has a really nice cafe with all the usual food and drinks, the cakes are really nice so try some, all in all the hospital is really good disabled parking and wheelchair access near all entrances and friendlypeople are friendly.

Cataract surgery on right eye, I was so apprehensive and worried but I could not have been in better hands. What lovely reassuring staff at the Stanley Eye Day unit so professional and caring. Can't thank the team there enough.

Had to attend an emergency appointment first thing. Was seen straight away. Staff very professional and young doctor I saw, polite and took his time. A good experience all round.

I went here with my husband and the care was excellent, can't fault the NHS they treated my husband brilliantly! The hospital is clean and tidy and the is plenty of parking spaces, and also disabled spaces too with disabled access to the building. There is an excellent cafe as well.

The most amazing Surgeon & Nurses, Mr Ng has been beyond brilliant trying to restore my sight in my right eye & the nursing staff are just so kind, I’m very lucky to be there

Had knee surgery here 10th January. Lovely little hospital set in woodlands. Staff we're really great. All of them except one had really amazing bedside manner. Even tho I was in for surgery they made my stay relaxing and comfortable. Pitty about one nurse who just didn't seem to fit in and have the same manner as the rest. Lovely area surrounding very clean inside and out. Great staff plenty of car parking spaces. Fairly easy to find. Has a cafe to but I personally didn't visit but was told was warm and welcoming. Overall if this place was a hotel instead of a hospital I would stay here again due to its staff.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Visited twice, staff caring and considerate,special mention to dr Sharma, who I seen 4th Jan, got letter today for my pre op on 21st feb would recommend this eye hospital,

For four years plus every 4/5 weeks I have been having injections for wet age related macular degeneration at this hospital and I can’t praise them highly enough - from the appointments office to the nurses who look after us, not to mention the Doctors their attention and understanding is exemplary - and a special thank you to Mr Matthews who heads up the macular department - without these injections we could lose our eyesight. I can’t thank you all enough

It is difficult to get there if you cannot drive due to expecting eye treatment. Taxi is the most reliable way from Abergele station

I simply cannot praise the staff highly enough here. My wife has had an extremely traumatic couple of days after suffering a detached retina in her right eye. After an initial visit on Friday afternoon following an urgent referral from the opticians they saw us first thing the following morning.
They identified quickly how very serious the issue was and the hospital called in a surgeon and support staff who looked after us, generally eased our fears and even made us tea and toast as the little tea shop was closed for the weekend.
These people were fantastic in every way and a credit to the hospital. Heartfelt thanks from my wife and I and fingers crossed for a full recovery.
