Pengwernydd Cottages

A week of beautiful scenery in The Cambrian hills, with newborn lambs and calves, including a week with the wonderfully talented artist Anita Woods, made this birthday present such a special occasion. Margaret and Ivor are so welcoming and willing to help in any way. I would highly recommend this location for a peaceful break away. Thank you everyone who made this possible. ❤

I always have a wonderful time when I come to stay at pengwernydd. I come twice a year with my mum to have a de stress and to enjoy a week of painting with Anita. The surrounding countryside is fantastic, it does not matter if its raining or sunny, the surrounding area always inspires me and my mum. The owners are friendly and only too happy to help, even to holding onto items I might have left in the cottage.

We loved these 4/5* cottages and the peaceful location on a working farm in the Cambrian Mountains. We chose to join 2 cottages, joined by an inner door for our family, which worked very well. The cottages are very well equipped and beautifully furnished. Ours even had a jacuzzi bath.
The location is very convenient for visiting places of interest in the area such as Aberystwyth and the Vale of Rheidol Railway, Devil’s Bridge, Hafod Estate and Strata Florida Abbey.
You will be sure of a very warm welcome from the owners, Mr and Mrs Hopkins.

Had a lovely stay at the cottages. A very friendly welcome from Margaret, the cottages were spotless, and the bed was very comfy 😀

We went down in the summer holidays and had an absolutely amazing time, the cottages are definitely five star quality, plenty of towels, and very clean and cosy. I loved the privacy, with all family having their own cottage, but we all chilled in one in the evenings, perfect for kids as they had their own play yard to just play and feel safe in. They even have a games room which I also enjoyed!
The relaxing atmosphere is something to wake up to I'm the morning, guarantee to come back feeling good. You have Aberystwyth 20mins away and near by places to visit, beautiful experience.

Wunderschöner Bauernhof, geschmackvoll eingerichtete Gästehäuser. Perfekt auch mit kindern
