Nestled in the Welsh countryside is this delightful local pub/restaurant.

The food was brilliant, service was friendly and warm, and we'd absolutely go back. The portions were so large we couldn't fit pudding even if we wanted to!

The below photo was a starter!!!

Beautiful pub with great food. We couldn’t get a reservation two days in advance and called spontaneously the day off. The food is completely homemade even the delicious gravy, which is rare. Prices are Suprisingly affordable given the high quality. We had the pictures custard pot for dessert, which was amazing. Never had homemade custard before. It tasted deliciously of vanilla.

We love visiting this beautiful pub every time we’re back home in Aber. The food is amazing & today we had a fantastic Easter Sunday lunch. We love the atmosphere inside & in the summer, the garden is perfect. Thank you for fitting us in as I booked only a week in advance. Can’t wait to come again! Diolch yn fawr iawn. One of the best cooked Pork belly dishes I've had and the Lamb was a fabulous Sunday roast also. Could work on the meet, greet and goodbye.

We only came for the Sunday roast however it was well worth the journey!!

We came for a family birthday and they were able to accommodate 23 of us in a private indoor area. We told them our orders ahead of time to make it easier and they were all served soon after arriving. Drinks were £6-8/ wine & £5-7/ beer.

Great quality food and an amazing garden with local atmosphere.

What a great restaurant and pub. Food was all locally sourced and beautifully cooked and presented. Wine and gin list great too. We ate outside and the space is very pleasant but the inside is beautifully turned out. Service from all staff was great too. As you can see, the trip out when staying in Aberystwyth is definitely worth it!

A fantastic country pub, so good we went twice!
Really enjoyed our 2 visits. Sunday lunch was superb. Generous portions and the pork belly was fantastic.
Went again on Wednesday and on both occasions they fitted us in at short notice with our 2 dogs. As the weather was nice we sat in the outside area which was covered and comfy.
You won't stumble on this pub due to the location but it is well worth the effort to find! 😍

Update:
Sunday 31st March 2024.
We made a return visit and it didn't disappoint.
5 out 5 in all areas. The Sunday lunch was fantastic and we had the dog seating area to ourselves which is a lovely room.

The Lamb and Pork belly were our favourites but every meal was lovely.

Recommended to all and worth venturing out of Aberystwyth for a meal.

Fantastic food & excellent service. Place shouts quality - not just food and service, but also interior design.

If you think that homemade cooked food from scratch is too expensive, and would like everything for nothing off to tesco for ready meal you go.

Thank you so much. Will be returning.

We came across this gem when looking for somewhere to eat in the Aberystwyth area. So happy that we found it! The service and food were both outstanding. My partner had a vegetarian homemade pie, I had a steak and ale pie. Both were totally delicious. I thoroughly recommend taking the time to visit y Ffarmers, you won't be disappointed

This was a real gem of a place to find after the Hotel we stayed at had no tables available.
Nestled away in a sleepy Welsh hamlet. The outside felt like we were at a real local pub. Entering through the lobby into the restaurant area blew us away with a real upmarket feel which set the tone for the best meal I've had in ages! Food was good as you'd find in the West end of London with exceptional tastes and flavours. Having all three courses and feeling satisfied and well fed. Hats off to the chef and the owner and hope they can make this a renowned place to visit for a top notch meal.

Had Sunday lunch there yesterday with my daughter and it was outstanding! 🌟 Starter: upside down fish pie. Main: roast beef dinner with extra gravy and horseradish sauce . Desert: sticky toffee pudding, we had cream with. We shared the starter and desert and I'm glad we did!

Absolutely amazing find. We’ve been looking for somewhere like this since we arrived (we’re visiting from England and staying near Aberaeron).

Very nice, stylish farmhouse style pub/restaurant with very friendly staff. The garden is very cute with a barn style roof. Parts of the pub are dog friendly too. Was quite busy which is nice because most places we’ve been to have been extremely quiet with little atmosphere. This had a great atmosphere.

Food was amazing. We had the chicken to start, the seared duck and the steak for mains and the chocolate tart for dessert. Best food we’ve had for a while.

Would definitely recommend!

Thank you for the lovely evening.

Had a very nice Sunday lunch here. Off the main road in a quiet village. Dog friendly. Highly recommend. Cost us around £60 for 3 courses inc drinks.

Food was delicious, I had the Hake with couscous it was perfectly cooked and lots of lovely flavour added to the couscous. Crumble for desert, the custard was made with vanilla pods, not powdered or from a tin. Again delicious.

Exceptional. Superb food. Worth travelling to Wales for. Just look at the photo and enough said! That is locally grown rhubarb cake with home made ice cream.
I can be quite tough with my reviews so these things aren't said lightly.
