Ty'r Onnen- Wild Welsh Treehouses

A really great place to stay. There is no phone signal which can be great. It is like camping but with a kitchen, flushing toilet, shower, heating and a large comfortable bed. There are no blinds or curtains but there is no one to see in. Watching the wildlife while on the toilet was different.
The inside and outdoor showers are also really good. The hot tub was a wonderful place to relax in. It took a few hours to get it up to temperature but it made me feel like I had earned it. The walk from the car wasn't as bad as I had expected but I was glad that we didn't take too much. I would definitely go again, awesome experience.

We had a brilliant time here on our little break. Everything feels high quality, lovely views and sounds of the countryside whilst you relax in the hot tub or outdoor bath!

A fantastic retreat from the rest of the world in a tranquil corner of West Wales. The treehouse is really luxurious and it was a pleasure to stay there for a few nights with friends. Cosy but with room for 4 - we'll definitely be back!

Ty'r Onnen was the perfect getaway we were looking for and more! We arrived to find a handy buggy to help move our luggage up to the tree house, then discovered this was the first of many thoughtful things that had been carefully prepared to make our stay as comfortable and easy as possible. On first impressions the tree house fits in beautifully with its rural surroundings, and is almost camouflaged until the last moment. As soon as you enter the gate you already feel a million miles away. Inside the tree house you are greeted with a wonderful welcome basket where we received some Welsh ale and some beautiful free range eggs. The interior design is simple but beautifully stylish and fitting to the design of the tree house. The off grid aspect works wonderfully and is not at all complicated. Every detail has been thought out to make everything as simple as possible and we found it very difficult to notice we were completely off grid. The outdoor area offers so much, including ample outdoor seating, a firepit and even an outdoor shower. We would highly recommend everybody to come and give this remarkable escape a go. We left feeling refreshed and relaxed and we cannot wait to come and stay again. Thankyou so much for letting us stay in this truly wonderful place!

We stayed in the treehouse on the 20th August for 2 nights it was Truly beautiful settings and place! Very peaceful, Well presented and exceptionally clean. You will not be disappointed. I would really recommend anyone who wants to have a peaceful get away to stay here. Thank you Sarah and Rhodri for having us and for the lovely welcome gift. X

A secluded yet compact treehouse with homely furnishings. Also eco friendly. A stunning scenic area of Wales. Recommended for a romantic couple getaway. Perfect for relaxing yet also ideal for walking/hikes ! A great way to escape modern life. Ty'r Onnen was the perfect way to celebrate our first anniversary, we made everlasting memories. We highly recommend and look forward to returning for a weekend break ..

Such a magical and pleasant stay, even through the storms! The hosts were kind and friendly throughout. The tree house is to a high standard, cosy and beautifully isolated to really get away from everything. Will definitely go again.

We had a fantastic weekend at Ty'r Onnen! The treehouse was cosy but fully equipped with everything you'd need (the small fridge could fit a bottle of wine on its side plus some food and a few things in the door too). The hot water worked really well and both indoor and outdoor showers were lovely! The woodburner heated the treehouse well and loads of logs, matches and firelighters were provided.The owners were accomodating and got back to us quickly about any queries we had too. The walking/running/cycling options from the property itself and a short drive away were superb, would fully recommend for a rural getaway!

Perfect secluded getaway with all the modern luxury trimmings and comforts. The drive up to the treehouse is stunningly sceneic and the treehouse itself is set among rolling fields and the idyllic sounds of a nearby spring with mountains in full view. Great customer service throughout and a comfortable experience within the treehouse interior. Highly recommended!

It is truly like something out of a fairytale! My husband surprised me for my 30th birthday. I couldn't quite believe just how stunning it was!! You feel so free and exposed in the huge open fields, yet it is completely secluded and private. It was truly breath taking. It was wonderful to 'get away from it all' in this stunning location. I loved that there was no wi-fi, no signal and no need to do anything but get lost in each other and in this beautiful place. (Saying that, you can walk 2 minutes to a bench to get signal, should you need to). I recommend this 100% to every couple. It has been so healthy for me and my husband to reconnect away from the norms of every day life. We will definitely return! ♡
