Visited here whilst in the area. What a little gem of a place. A beautiful place to visit and walk around, they were setting up for a wedding whilst we were there and it looked beautiful. It had a lovely little coffee shop which also sells ice cream. Well worth a visit if your in the area. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and told us a lot of information about the place. Highly recommend a visit.

We recently held our small wedding in the gardens at Alford Manor House. Margaret made it an absolute pleasure from start to finish. The gardens were beautiful and provided plenty of lovely photo opportunities. Thank you so much for helping to make our day so special.

We attended an outdoor performance of The Comedy of Errors by The Pantaloons - both the venue and artists are recommended.

Visited for the craft fair , as usual a wide variety of crafts on display which got us to part with money. The manor house had a little cafe to enjoy a coffee or tea also a museum to walk round and a garden

Brilliant craft weekend. Alford House is used every year for these Bank Holiday festivals as well as having beautiful gardens and a museum. The craft festivals attract numerous crafters from around Lincolnshire as well as various entertainers, musicians and a couple of animal charities. Admission is 'what you can afford', parking in the village/town - carparks are free. Several free craft making sessions for children. A smashing event with eats, drinks, ice cream sold at Alford House.

Toured the grounds and gardens while visiting the excellently run 1940s weekend. It's absolutely delightful. Will visit again.

Update: we've been to a few events since the first review. Craft shows, traction engine shows and tonight a touring theatre show in the gardens. Such a lovely venue to visit we've had a lovely evening

he walled garden open day sounded too good to miss. It's a small well tended garden and lots of lovely veggies and flowers growing. The only problem we had was finding the entrance (It's beside the museum entrance).

We had a wander around and then bought some broad beans and beetroot (freshly pulled) at an excellent price. Volunteers were on site and very helpful. Well worth a visit if you are in Alford

A very interesting place to visit, steeped in local history. Architecturally interesting too, originally built in the 1700. Restored recently, a agricultural museum attached to the back of the property. Gardens to walk around and a cafe and toilets on site. Worth a visit Alford windmill Close buy, also worth a visit.
