Superb Italian experience. Wonderful to have a restaurant within walking distance who source local produce. Have been several times and will be going often.

A superb restaurant to have in somerton. Food super tasty and beautifully presented. Atmosphere very cosy and a stunning building. Service was very high standard and polite attentive front of house . A firm favourite place to eat with friends and family

It was a very good experience, it is a tapas style menu so things come out when they are ready, but it was also very well explained by a gentleman serving us about serving sizes of each dish. The arancini is a must order when you go as they are some of the best I've ever had. Great service, excellent food, lovely atmosphere.

We came in for the basement tacos night and it was absolutely wonderful. The host was a charming man, really friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. Food was amazing and we will definitely be coming back to try their regular menus. Had a really good negroni!

Absolutely gorgeous food and ambience.
Had the best pizza ever and the tapas style gives a chance to try various things and all plates were all delicious and incredibly good.

The place is beautifully decorated and very authentic.

We will be back frequently and we are delighted to have Alfredo’s at the door step.

Excellent food, friendly staff and a lovely setting. Very helpful and accommodating when our travel plans went wrong and we were delayed. The menu was varied and interesting and I’d happily return and eat my way through the whole of it. The food really was delicious!

Had a fantastic meal celebrating my Birthday, the second good meal had here in the last few months. Every dish for both of us was top drawer and particular praise goes to the general manager Fergus who made things good fun all round for us. No hesitation to say you'll have a good experience here and we look forward to coming again.

We shared 6 small plates between two adults, which was perfect! Food was incredible, fresh, full of flavour and presented elegantly.

The staff were all very attentive, polite, friendly and actually took a moment to chat about our meal.

The interiors are just perfect.

We went for the first time on Mother’s Day and were all a little bit stunned at how good it was. We had the roast lamb, pork, and beef and one of us had the risotto. We all agreed it’s the best Sunday lunch we’ve had in years.

We just couldn’t fault it. The place is beautiful, front of house were attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly, and the bill was acceptable for the level of service and quality of dishes.

And as for the tiramisu…should be illegal!

What a fantastic way to dine! Small plate Italian means you can sample a whole variety of dishes of your choice, or get one of the very well trained staff to help out with choices. You can always fall back on a pizza choice if you fancy! Also went last Sunday and had roast beef, it was beautiful.
I would really recommend it.

I note a criticism below from someone saying the website doesn't mention it's tapas but the website makes it very clear that it's cicchetti or sharing plates, plus the menu states this and the staff explain how it works.

I've eaten here many times, as a couple or with as many as 14 people, either way you get to try a great selection of food.

Family lunch was EXCELLENT.
We loved all the food, the location and the service. The quality of the ingredients is second to none.
On the way out we bought a few things from the bakery which again was pretty epic.
Amazing all round - go there now!

We absolutely loved our visit to Alfredo's. On arrival we were warmly greeted and made to feel relaxed and welcome. The restaurant was full but the atmosphere calm; pretty impressive for a recently opened place. The sharing menu was perfect for us as we love trying a variety of dishes. Favourites are difficult to choose because everything was delicious but sea bass, steak, potatoes and tiramisu were especially good. We left feeling pleasantly full. Highly recommended and well worth the drive from Bristol.

A great hidden gem, a small front door opens into a lovely restaurant. Warm welcome and service throughout, smashing food and at sensible prices, have recommend to friends and would advise a visit. Will return soon.

Fantastic restaurant and an invaluable addition to Somerton. The food is faultless - small plate concept which means you can indulge in as much or as little as you want, but equally accessible for a pizza and a pint should you want something more casual. Could have eaten a bucket of the deep fried tenderstem broccoli served with a gluttons helping of Parmesan - looking forward to coming back! Xx

Delicious flat white and sausage roll. Sadly pizza chef doesn’t work currently on a Sunday and that’s what I was really wanting to try - another time!

We have been to Alfredo’s a few times and every visit is wonderful!
We are blown away with the fantastic food , and choices on the menu with fabulous service and just a wonderful place to visit ! We can’t wait to go back and visit again with more family members to share the experience with.

Popped in the café today with a friend of my late mum for a catch up. What great hot chocolate we stayed for two cups will definitely be back again.

Everything was perfect! We came for my partners 31st birthday and we chose it because of how extensive the gluten free menu is, as well as the standard menu as we were dining with people who can eat gluten so it was important to cater for all parties. The gluten free pizza was THE best we’ve ever had. We are from London and not had anything as good as this that’s GF. Our friends also tried it and said they couldn’t taste the difference it was that good! Honestly it’s so hard to find good GF pasta and pizza so we were extremely impressed. We were really very happy with everything and the staff were all excellent, very friendly and very welcoming. 100% recommend a trip here!
