Lovely setting and easy to get to. Basic facilities and excellent swim spots. If you're looking to get away from kids then not the place for you! Lovely weekend

Absolutely brilliant weekend with out baby! Everyone was so friendly and very impressed with the facilities and vibe of the place. So well done and Cathie and the boys were brilliant, cannot wait until next year to go again!

This was our first time here and we can't wait to go again. Cathie was nothing short of amazing. The place is so relaxed and yet she has everything organised calmly in the background from firepits to recycling to bags of ice for chilling your beer. Swimming in the river was wonderful. Canoeing to the pub was a great way to spend the afternoon. Perfect for kids, teens, dogs and grown ups.

If you like basic then it's perfect. Don't be put off by composting toilets🙂. A great relaxed site. You can swim or canoe in the Thames. Good walks to some nice country pubs. Have been going for the last 5 years or so.

Fantastic - Owner was very friendly and helpful, Bell tent was well set up and in a beautiful field, swimming in the river was a great way to cool off. No electricity or WiFi was a great break from everything.
We stayed in one of the bell tents that has all the kit provided. The only thing missing was some shade - so worth taking a garden umbrella to pop in the bench outside the tent if it’s very hot. Apart from that all we needed was food and drink.
Would return in a heartbeat

This is an ideal place for a weekend break. Two fields adjacent to the river where you can take a dip. Toilets are eco not flush but are well kept.
We go with family each year for the last 4 years and always have a good time.
Idealy located for Oxford, Milletts farm or just chilling out. The sitr allows well behaved dogs and we have never had a problem with noise.
The pub in the village is not very welcoming buy only 2 miles up the road is the Greyhound which is lovely and serves food to 10pm and allows dogs.

2nd visit. There will be a 3rd and hopefully many more! Very friendly, very simply eco friendly, the most stunning setting. Worth hiring a canoe for a paddle to the pub if you don't have one. Weekend's only, you'll want to stay for more!

Great site for old-school camping with a sense of environment responsibility. Sustainably sourced firewood and compost loos and a great night sky with lots of stars. Place to swim in the river and go paddling.

Really great, fantastic location, great host , very very rustic back to basic camping so don't expect home comforts. It's all open fires and back to nature

A hidden gem, run well by Cathy. On a good summer evening when the sun goes down its magical. The site lights up with families and friends sitting around campfires enjoying the outdoors.

Very nice campsite to stay at and a friendly host. I thoroughly like that it has good eco credentials. This is our 4th time camping at the site with my family snd cannot fault the setup.
