Notre-Dame Market

Oh my goodness! This market is a dream for anyone. Whether you are a tourist, a chef, or anyone just passing by, the market is crazy to visit. They have many shops selling meats, cheeses, vegetables, desserts, and fish. The indoor stalls are arranged around a ring of buildings, so it's easy to walk around. I, especially, thought the dessert shop was mouthwatering. It's a shame I didn't get a chance to try the desserts. Next time...

Had fresh yummy crepes here in the inside shops. Fresh ingredients from other stores, like smoked salmon.... Stall owner does not speak English but has English menu for ordering. Friendly and recommended to try it.

Wonderful market with lots to see and eat! We came here several times during our short stay to to try new things. There are many restaurants and a few bakeries surrounding the market, too.

Second largest market in France but the best in my opinion. Plenty of delicious fruit, veg, cheeses, cooked and raw meats. Increasing provision of organic foods. Come first thing of a Sunday morning for the best effect!

If you are at Palace of Versailles, please do not miss this market which if I'm not wrong, opens on Sunday only. The food is yum n different nationalities sell their products. You will find vegetables, fruits, variety of cheese, meat, handicrafts, music, African, turkish n other nationalities cooked food and all this for local street affordable prices. Anybody would enjoy as I enjoyed by mushroom n special cheese stuffed naan.

Best place to see and taste in Versailles. Fresh products, fruits, vegetables, meats, flowers, clothes, furniture - you will find everything on the market place Notre Dame elected most beautiful market.

Quite an expensive food market....many good restaurants nearby...If you live in Versailles, I recommend you to go once.

Market is busy and it sells a variety of fresh and cooked foods. There are also vendors that sell non-consumable products like cooking pans and hand bags.

A really great market! It has absolutely everything imaginable that you can buy in a market from amazing fresh fuit, vegetables, cheese to delicious Turkish, Italian or Lebanese food to take away!

Best market you'll ever visit. It's an adorable place with great food and an authentic atmosphere. You owe it to yourself to come at least once.

Outstanding market with delicious food!! My favorites are the cheese and fruit. We went twice during our week in Paris. The street vendors will vary depending on the day of the week. Once when we went it was more food. Another day it was clothing.

My favorite market which dates back from the king :) come and grab your picnic here and go directly to the parc of château

The must experience for the great food lovers. Unlike markets in many other European non French cities, there is no option to buy her smth and ask for it being cooked and eaten at the place. It is a true market for cook at home. Considered to be one of the most beautiful markets in France. Mind you that it is officially opened on Wed, Fri, and Sun.

This is everything you want in a French market- fresh bread, produce, food, even vendors yelling at each other trying to attract customers. Absolutely loved it and got some fantastic bread and cheese in the process.

Lovely small local fish and meat market. A fresh pasta shop looks awesome, but I cannot get it back home for fresh cooking.
