Restaurant Cafè Ivalo

We went to Cafe Ivalo several times during our honeymoon in Lapland and each time we were very well received. Possibility of loading all our computer equipment, excellent cuisine and very, very friendly server. The best place for a drink!

A very nice restaurant with super nice staff, 6 out of 5 stars for the nice service😉 We had a hot chocolate the day before (also available with oat milk). We felt so comfortable there that we came back the next day for dinner. The reindeer burger and the salmon soup were very good!

Excellent place to stop and have a good lunch, the buffet food is home made and really good quality for price. The staff is really friendly and the atmosphere is cozy.

14 Mar 2023. My packaged tour group from Singapore had lunch in Restaurant Cafe Ivalo. It has Finnish or Western food. I am not an expert on the food, hence I do not rate it. But the service staff were very helpful - 5-stars for service.

Found this gem during our stay in Ivalo. Nice cafe for breakfast or lunch, run by friendly people. My husband and I had lunch here...I enjoyed the fish sandwich and a salad and my husband enjoyed the reindeer pasta. Both were delicious. The sandwich was served on house-made brioche and the vegetables were very tasty. The pasta was bursting with flavour. I finished my meal with a tasty cafe mocha and my husband had a local beer. Excellent find.

Good service, good home made food. Pulla/sweet rolls are freshly made, and everything is made in-house. They even make their own meat pasties! I recommend the burgers! The beef is fresh, never frozen and juicy. Very tasty.
The owner is very nice, the staff is friendly. Coffee is also great. Can’t say a bad thing about this place.

A cosy place to spend a few hours waiting for our flight. The staff member who served us was so helpful and nice. The buffet lunch was really filling and good value. Comfy seats, free wifi, 10/10 would come again!
