Beautiful beautiful place. Snow covered Santa town. Meeting Santa Claus was an experience.
The entry is free and the place practically closes at 5 PM in March. Husky farms and Reindeer farms were good to visit.
There is a milestone of Arctic Circle line and the Post Office to send postcards from Santa Claus.

So awesome place. There is so much do to and see. This village in evening is just gorgeous with all those colored lights it just looks magical. Most restaurants closes at 17:00 but there is couple places open longer. Lots of good Finish stores as well. You just get festive feeling when there. For sure will go back and spend more time there.

It’s a fun place, and finally met santa. The elves would greet you at the entrance, then Santa will talk to you for a few seconds then we are done with the photo. Printed photo costs 35 euros. You can choose the package you like. The queue too is 30-40 min.
You can send post cards to your friends, can choose either receive in the next Christmas or daily mail. Post cards affordable at 1.5 Euros.
Went for reindeer ride and husky ride, they both very cute! Everywhere Christmas vibes.
The village is not that big, got a few food options.
Had my happy time here!!

Hands down, the most magical place in all the land! I was able to meet Santa, go on reindeer sleighs, eat amazing food (multiple options), and the accommodations had private saunas that were divine. Great activities close by and on property. 10 out of 10, would recommend!

Great experience for families. The Santa Claus visit is free for everyone, which is nice. If you want photos with him you will have to pay (quite expensive photos).

Includes hotel, restaurant, lots of gift shops and various activities for kids. It's very commercial, as expected, but still nice

Lovely place but more commercialised than expected. Still definitely worth a visit. We spent no more than 2 hrs there. Santa was fantastic, reindeer ride was beautiful, Mrs Claus Cafe was so lovely. A perfect start to our Lapland adventure. Getting food around 10 am is really difficult so bring something if you arrive then and hoped for breakfast.

It's never to late to meet Santa and to celebrate it like a kid. This place has it all, you can take a picture with Santa, you can post letters for kids, ride in raindeer or husky led sleighs, have a coffee in Mrs Claus house, even sleep in the hotel or holiday village on the premises. No matter the age there is magic everywhere (but it all costs).

A fairyland Dreamland experience in this snow capped village. It's so beautiful. We took family photo with Santa and one should not miss this lifetime opportunity. We walked into the Arctic circle had reindeer rides. We had a great time there.

What a magical place! Feels like Christmas no matter the time of year. We had the chance to visit and speak to Joulupukki, it will be a really great memory. It can be quite busy so prepare to queue.

It was fun for all ages, the reindeer ride was delightful! Our guide, Jacob is friendly and very personable. He picked us up and was with us every step of the way, ensuring that our trip was filled with things to do and things to see. We also managed to meet Santa! Ended the trip with a nice buffet meal at the end. All in all a very good trip!

Great experience for anyone - adults or kids. Indeed a lot of things here are expensive, but the most important thing is that there is no entrance fee and you don't have to pay anything to visit Santa, which is great especially if you have kids.

So the prices here are based on what every person wants to spend, but you can see everything for free.

We came here with bus 8 and left with the special bus that's only during winter time

A Christmas paradise for kids and adults alike. The entrance is free but expect to pay high prices for everything. E.g. a small photo with Santa will cost 35 euro. Multiple activities are offered nearby like reindeer and husky sledging. Best to have them reserved beforehand.

We loved the atmosphere and the winter wonderland magic. It's a tick of my bucket list indeed. Must go once in your life and Santa deemed my daughter Good and gave her a gift... lol...such a memorable experience.

The place is magic! No entrance tickets but activities are paid. Meeting Santa is free but you cannot take pictures of him. Elves take pictures of you with Santa and you can buy them if you want. Do the reindeer sleigh ride and the husky! And of course don't miss meeting Santa!!!🎅🏻🎅🏻

We had a wonderful experience at Santa Clause Village! If you visit in the winter, then you need to pack accordingly. It is cold! Bring your thermal underwear! Or your credit card. There is plenty of shopping in the town or at Santa's Village.

We were in this place about 5 years ago and it was great to see the updates. Loads to do in here. We loved the snow Village with slides and ice bar. Would highly recommend spending the day in the village just to hang about if you didn't do any of the tours etc. Such a lovely atmosphere and ambience in here.

Honestly, I'm surprised that there are even any negative reviews for this place because you can't feel anything but happy when you enter and walk around.

Just to get some facts straight , you are in one of the Nordic countries. Yes, everything here is quite expensive (me being from the EU and comparing it). Yes, it is a touristy place - that's also why people visit it and know about it, right 🤭😀 so yes, expect higher prices (not specifically this place - the whole country) and many people if you are unlucky (we visited on a weekday and had no issues).

Most of the places are free - no entry ticket needed, souvenir shops you can roam around and not buy anything, if you don't feel like it. The outside looks straight out of a winter fairytale.

We visited the petting zoo to see the reindeer - ticket 15€ + 5eur feeding bag. We were a group of 6 adults, and we all loved it! There are many animals you can visit, there are huts with fire where you can roast marshmallows, if you like.

In the post office, it was a bit crowded, which is understandable. It is one of the main attractions. Postacards are 1-1.5€ with the special envelopes and postmarks price goes up to 6€.

We also visited one of the restaurants - we tasted the sauted reindeer, which was absolutely delicious, you get water for free (as much as you like). Price was 22€, which was cheaper than compared to options in the city (average price was around 27/28€ for reindeer).

It's definitely a must when in Rovaniemi, especially in wintertime. It is magical, with the webcam adding something special - when your family or colleagues can watch you from home.
