Santa's Post Office

A must do! Here you see all the letters received around the world to Santa. You get to buy your cards and mail them to loved ones from the Artic Circle. My husband and I even wrote each other postcards and mailed them to each other. We will receive them around Christmas Day.

I recently had the most enchanting experience at the Central Post Office in Finland, also known as Santa’s Post Office. Sending cards to all my friends from this festive hub was a joyous adventure. This place is a must-visit pitspot 🚏 on your next trip to the Santa Claus 🎅 Village 🏡 in Lapland, Rovaniemi! 🇫🇮 Santa's Post Office 📮 is a great spot to send 📨 a international 🌍 postcard 🎴 - it's €2.50 euro 💶 for a stamp and you can by a postcard for €1 too from their vast selection. I wish I sent more letters ✉ from here! 📬

Amazing expirience. Just over the Santas meeting place. You can also to buy souveniers as anywhere in santas village (well if you re giest of village you have 10%discount . Dont have necessity to buy souveniers in Rovaniemi because in santas village are cheaper.
You can send postcard for 2.5 euro immedietly or for 5nwith special christmas stamp for next xmass.

To be honest, one of the best parts of Santa’s Village! You get to really send your own postcard overseas and the designs of the postcards were really nice!!! Worth it to go here just for this!!!

Since 1985, Santa Claus has received 15 million letters from 198 countries, which makes Santa Claus Main Post Office a must on any visit to Santa Claus Village. The merry postal elves are happy to serve customers all year round in their headquarters, which is a real post office operated by Posti, Finland’s national postal service. Every letter sent from here is addressed from Santa and gets a special Arctic Circle postmark not available anywhere else. The highlight is that if you send a postcard on 18th January, it will be received only on 18th December as a special gift for Christmas. We had a small deal of shopping there – just a handful of cards and souvenirs. And we send many cards to our friends around the world. The cards are available from 2EUR.

The Tourism Information Desk is located right above the Post Office. We went there and sealed our passports for crossing the Arctic Circle. It is not at all mandatory, but that would be a seal that would mark our journey officially forever.

You can not get a stamp for your passport. It is illegal! You can get a certificate for crossing the arctic circle from other places in the village, but not in the post office.

We Had fun. It was amazing! The concierge speaks fluent English😍😘 it was really easy.

Unique stamps can be obtained from here. Although the postcards selling here are quite costy, it worths!

They store some mails from many countries that Santa receives and even have some of those on display. You can send postcards from here to your loved ones. There are two postboxes, one for those which are delivered on christmas, the other is for normal delivery.

Just loved the concept of Santa's Village and that I could be seen via Web Cam by my family back home in Australia.... I thought that was amazing to be waving to my grand children...
PS... And my postcards to my grandchildren arrived in Australia within 2 weeks...
