Sora Lodge Lalibela 4 Stars

Best place(hotel) for taking rest after Lalibella tour. Wonder view and comfortable room. It was great experience in this hotel.

Sora Lodge was a wonderful experience for us, a good place to recharge ourselves after the tour in the desert. The rooms are clean and we've had 2 bottles of water (500 ml) in the room every day. The food is good, all the people working there were very nice. A tip: bring your own shampoo and shower gel. In the bathroom there is soap, but that's all. The views are beautiful.

Sora Lodge is the best place to spend your nights in Lalibela. A great view with nice spots to enjoy the sunset and sunrise in the morning even from your room. Their room includes a delicious breakfast as well. You can also enjoy their complimentary Spa service and massage with extra payment. The lodge is located not far from the Rock hewn churches and the staff is very friendly.

Had a phenomenal Time at the Sora lodge. I’d recommend no where else in the lalibella area. Super clean super friendly. Check-in started with some freshly made traditional tea. Views from the windows and breakfast were breathtaking. Checkin and checkout was relatively painless which is a plus. Go see Ethiopia. Amazing tradition and history!

This lodge is simply amazing. The view from almost every part of the lodge is fantastic and the rooms are traditional and modern at the same time, easily combining both expectations.

Sora lodge was the best accommodation we have stayed in Ethiopia. My family and I had a wonderful time at the lodge. The view of the lodge is amazing so as the staff was very friendly. Everyone was very friendly. We strongly recommend this amazing lodge .

Great place! Unique style of architecture, we had a room in one of the traditional tukuls and it was fantastic. Nice complimentary coffee on arrival. The place has great outdoor seating overlooking the mountain, which is great both during the day and at night for a relaxing drink. Overall one of the best places we stayed in Ethiopia

Great place with breathtaking views and friendly staff. They do grow vegetables from own garden and the food was great by far we have had in Ethiopia.

The sunset bar was just perfect with beautiful views of the mountaims, valley and the countryside villages.

I strongly recommend Sora lodge to anyone traveling to Lalibela.

Nice lodge overlooking a cliff, providing great views (specially from the sunset bar!). Rooms are nice, clean and comfortable. There's free wifi throughout the lodge. Payment by credit card is also accepted.

From reception to restaurant staff they are all excellent and helpful. The lodge is walking distance from the St. Gabriel side. The lodge orgised a guide and he was excellent. I can only recommend the lodge to anyone who is looking for tranquillity, international standards with Ethiopian flavours.

Best hotel in Lalibela and the people are amazing, humble and kind.
