Mountain View Hotel Lalibela

Mountain View hotel says it all in the name. They have a Beautiful Mountain View from a deck designed to view a 360 degree of the breathtaking mountains at round. We went twice once for dinner and early morning to have our morning coffee and breakfast. Food was nice and staff were very friendly. I highly recommend for someone who visit Lalibela to check Mountain View. I didn’t stay at this hotel so I can not review the hotel rooms.

Definitely one of the most beautiful hotel in which we had been. Friendly reception staff. Very very beautiful room, large and modern with an amazing view. All are clean and comfortable. It has a restaurant that offered a good menu at fair prices.

We enjoyed mountain view. All the facilities were amazing, staff was very cooperative. Location of the hotel is very nice, it was near to rock hewn churches. It has nice view. Food was all good specially the stake...yummy. it's best for family

Incredibly special destination, memories for a lifetime!

The entire team at the Mountain View Hotel treated us like family. The room with views of the city was magical, just a few steps to the rock hewn churches of lalibela. The service & staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive. The restaurant Bagatelle offers a beautiful breakfast and delicious lunch/dinner menu.
Mountain view will always hold a special place in our hearts, it's lush and immaculate ground are enchanting, the rooms are pristine and the people who operate this hotel deeply care about the guest experience. We highly recommend it to all those seeking a magical experience in Lalibela, Ethiopia.

An overly gorgeous and partially glass hotel with modern amenities in the rustic red ocher colored mountains of Lalibela, Abyssinia (Ethiopia). The rear of the hotel possess the grandest panoramic views that I've ever seen. Be not surprised if you see individuals hang gliding off the mountain side. This is definitely a worth wild stay while enjoying smells of traditional Ethiopian coffee ceremonies dancing about in the air, and veggie combos with freshly prepared injera.

In closing, visit the old Ethiopian Coptic Church as well. It appears way better in person than on any page ever published.

Beautiful setting, breathtaking view from each room, clean, reasonable price ($50/night in June), shared van from airport for 100 birr. Only downside was hotel representative who received me at the airport pressured me to hire him as a tour guide. This is the place to watch the sun set.

I am extremely satisfied on my Stay at Mountain view Hotel . Hotel is ideally located with all tourist attractions . I am also Thankful for staff at Mountain view for the service they extended during our 3 night stay at this hotel . Last but not least appreciate Lovely Breakfast with Wide choice to keep you going . I would definitely stay once again next time visit Lalibela.

We stayed at this beautiful hotel just over a week ago. I read all the write ups on tripadvisor and thought can it be this good ! Well it was and more !! all staff from front desk on entry check in to welcome drink - everything. Room was amazing Staff super super friendly and helpful.Too many names to mention and don't want to miss anyone out. I think we spoke to most of them at some time during our 24 hour stay.We will be going back for sure Would highly recommend.

Having stayed at the Mountain View Hotel on over four separate occasions I can confidently say it is one of the best hotels in Lalibela, Ethiopia. The staffs are always available and very helpful, the rooms are quiet and clean, the breakfast is amazing and I’d certainly recommend it to anyone heading to Lalibela for a short or long stay.

Beautiful view, great staff, spacious and clean modern room with great amenities such as free Wi-Fi and international news channel such as CNN and BBC. I will highly recommend for visitors who would like to spend time exploring Lalibela. The Owner provides transportation and very helpful with any needs of his guests.

The views, the architecture & the staff are worth a visit to stay or stop for a beer. The community garden & cooking classes also worthwhile.

I was visiting with my family and we all enjoyed the wonderful view from the hotel and also great service. One morning, I saw the cloud from my bed. What a view. Great place.

Personally I can say I am lucky to celebrate my birthday in such amazing place @ Mountain View Hotel Lalibela with so much love and care of all the stuffs and people who works there. I had the most fun and made incredible memories I got to cherish to the rest of my life.....ENJOY THIS AMAZING PLACE!!!!!!

Everything is great, very comfortable, amazingly service oriented and welcoming staff, excellent food and beverages, lovely rooms and surroundings. A great place to retreat from the daily busyness.
