Albergue Restaurante Castro

The waiters who took care of our group last night were very professional. One waiter was a very capable English speaker, which helped us immensely. He gave good advice, took careful orders, and remembered everything. When one woman’s order was not what she expected, he had a new meal ordered and prepared very quickly. I was very impressed, especially as the establishment had to go to some lengths to be able to accommodate our party of 16.

The food was very delicious, nicely served and atmosphere there was perfect!

stopped for food while staying in an albergue 2 mins across the road, had the tropical salad, octopus , bread wine and pudding as part of my pilgrim menu 10 euro meal. Absolutely one of the best meals I had and a super member of staff serving me !!

My wife and I stayed at this albergue when we walked on the Camino de Santiago. The albergue was very clean and the staff was very nice. Additionally the restaurant provided the best pulpo dish in the Camino. We will stay again at this albergue when we do trekking on Camino again.

Best restaurant we ate at during the Camino walk. Food was great and service was even better - waiters looked after us extremely well.
Recommend come early as it fills up fast - don't miss it

Soap, towels and HOT water to wash your hands in a pristine clean bathroom. I just had to praise them for that. The hot water in a rainy day is a treat! Thanks!

This the most delicious octopus I have ever had, soft, juicy, tender crispy, just too good to describe, only who tastes can tell.

One of the best dining experiences on the Camino. The paella was amazing, the staff very friendly and nice, the restaurant was very busy.

We came only for dinner as a pilgrims. Place is really nice, i could come here with family also. Food and service was perfect.

One of the best albergues of the way, just for 10 euros! Between 4 and 8 people per room, drapes to cover the bed area, real sheets, confortable bed...

Another place with lovely food, place looks very nice, service is plesant and quick. Nice to be served beautiful food by happy person. Good vine as well, dose not happend always. I recommend that place to all pilgrims in Palas de Rio. Very happpy*****!!!

Stayed here with my family when we were doing the Camino de Santiago. Absolutely fantastic! Friendly staff, super clean and air conditioned rooms, clean and modern facilities and very inexpensive. I can't rate this place high enough!!!
