A paso de formiga

Had a tasty snack. Finally, I see a place where the menu is more unique than a standard “sandwich”/“tortilla” repertoire—I had crepes plus local cheese with quince for a desert.

A quiet and cosy place in the middle of nowhere...
Rooms are simple and clean, the staff is really nice and friendly.
The patio and little garden outside offer pilgrims a great chance to relax.
An unexpected oasis of peace guarded by big ants ;)

A wonderful stop along el Camino de Santiago. I had melon and prosciutto with some Estrella Galacia beer. There was enough outdoor seating for our group to sit and eat comfortably. I loved the ant theme.

In some places you feel like a client, in other you feel like a pilgrim that is welcome in the hardest moments. This place is definitely the second. Thank you Carlas for you real hospitalero heart ❤ (Ps: best meals and a wonderful cook and waitress)

Brilliant stop on the Camino. Great and very welcoming staff, super clean and comfy beds, great shower & clothes washing service, nice quirkiness to the cafe, and the best food on the Camino for sure!

The owner and staff do their best to welcome and provide excellent service. The place is clean and the food was great. We recommend Paso de Formiga to peregrinos passing through Porto's.
