excellent experience. The wall works are wonderful. Watching the walls takes you back to ancient times. Specially there are handles on the wall. In addition, fine workmanship has also been applied to the wooden doors. We entered with a ticket, but this area may be free. It's a nice place to take photos in front of it. We visited on January 19, if there was no rain in the weather, it was a good visit date in terms of low density. You can buy your tickets just above where the bus drops you off. We paid 18 EUR per person (as an adult). You can also see the city from here. Other sections can be entered by queuing in front of this building. You need to have your passport ready.

Cool palace with a nice little gift shop as well as a museum within. Definitely worth checking it out, it has a different feel than most because it was never actually inhabited by any royals!

BE AWARE that the Museum is closed on Mondays!
We didn't know and therefore couldn't visit it, bummer, a real loss.
And...as I wrote in my other reviews, please do bring your ORIGINAL passports with you otherwise you'll be denied the entrance.

Don't miss it when in the Alhambra. Interesting construction and over 500 years of history.

This is a masterpiece of Renaissance architecture. The scale of the structure is monumental, as though it were a Roman aqueduct or the Pantheon.

It also houses two delightful museum collections.

Another must-see building. Beautiful both inside and outside. We came late in the afternoon and it wasn’t crowded at all, even on Spain’s national day. Don’t miss getting the audio guides before visiting any of the sites in Alhambra. It is a great way of learning about every detail of the buildings.

The palace is inside the Alhambra castle. It is probably the least impressive part of the complex but worth spending 5-10 min around. There is also a small museum worth a visit. It doesn't long to explore everything. You will need to buy tickets for Alhambra (which gives access to the Palace of Charles V) in advance.

This Renaissance style palace was constructed by Charles V after the Reconquista. It is mesmerizing to view the perfectly circular inner structure, and the uniformity of the pillars and arches. A nice place to spend a half an hour.

what an interesting place to visit. it has unique architecture and amazing ornament pattern. Combining Islamic Moorish style and Spain architecture style, make the building look amazing. Really nice to visit with your friends and families. But sadly, you have to leave the baby stroller at the entrance

Impressive palace, free access. Two floors and a circular area with columns. It is really beautiful and I strongly recommend going upstairs, views are better from above and nice pics can be taken.

Worth a trip especially if you didn’t managed to get tickets to the rest of the Alhambra complex. One of the free parts of the Alhambra - even though it’s a Renaissance period building designed for the Holy Roman Emperor Carlos V, meaning it’s less worthwhile for those interested in the Nasrid / Moorish architecture on the site

The Palace of Charles V is situated within the Alhambra palace complex. Guided tours are run throughout the day and booking is advisable as this iconic palace is extremely popular. There are a number of areas with steep narrow steps but the views make the climb worthwile. The palace of Charles V is very large with an auditorium.

Palacio de Carlos V, desde 1527…

Time flows quietly, can't turn back the clock, whether gentle, irritable, ordinary or legendary, we will eventually be annihilated in the long river of time, as if we've never been here.

Todo fluye...🎈

Great little museum and it has something interesting exhibitions. The photographer who was exhibiting his photos of the Alhambra were spectacular! AND it is free!

A very interesting part of the Alhambra - but in my view pales beside the splendour of the Nasrid Palaces - extraordinarily lavish splendour from the 13th & 14th centuries!
