Amazing and beautiful hilly town. Full of wonders and amazing sites. The view is incredible in the day and the night. There are a lot of small stalls around the area where you can buy cheap souvenirs.

You can walk around the area by yourself. Slowly explore the area. I really recommend Mirador de San Nicolas, really worth it to come and visit this amazing place.

We chose to stay in the Albacin while visiting Granada to experience this quaint town. Highly recommend! Loved the winding, narrow streets and the fabulous surprise of this gorgeous viewpoint of the Alhambra. Enjoyed talking with and purchasing items from the local vendors in the square.

Nice hike to this place that offers a fantastic view of the Alhambra with the snowy tops of the Sierra Nevada in the background. Before sunset many people gather here, live music starts playing and the atmosphere is very relaxed. I saw this in low season though. I expect it to be much more crowded in high season.

Fantastic views of the Alhambre from this view point opposite it. Food and drink available here too. Traditional flamenco singing added to the atmosphere. We caught the bus up here from the main street in Granada town and were glad that we had as the hill was really steep to walk and the street was really narrow when buses were passing by. We walked back down though to the main street and enjoyed looking at the artisan shops on the way.

A gorgeous viewpoint to take in the views of the Alhambra Palace and the Sierra Nevada mountains. The spot is a bit crowded but lively, and there are usually flamenco singers here. Well worth it as a spot to enjoy free flamenco whilst looking out at Spain's most iconic sights.

Wow! The views to Alhambra are simply beautiful and breathtaking, plus the hike there over the gorgeous narrow streets of Albaicín neighborhood is quite nice and entertaining.

5 stars for the spectacular panoramic views. For dinner, the starters we very good, anchovies, Tomatoes and Tuna salad.
For the main course, the entrecote steak was not good at all and highly overpriced. It was not of a hood quality and was tasteless.
The bacalao fish was fine.
Overall good but very pricy experience.

Went there both at sun rise (8am) and sun set (5pm) in December. You can walk up (1km, 100 meter gain, around 30 floors, 20 mins) or take the bus. As the sun comes up from the Sierra Nevada mountain in the left (east) you have the ENTIRE square to look at the Alhambra and the city. As sun sets in the opposite direction, you will see the Alhambra and Granada city basking in the yellow/orange hues. The view at sunset is more romantic, but you will have to literally elbow and squeeze with a big crowd. The view and atmosphere at sunrise is more contemplating where you can spend a good one hour just enjoying yourself and the view. The first 3 pictures were taken at sunrise, the last 3 at sunset.

We arrived at night, the views were dark but beautiful to see all in lights. I think for photos it is better to go on sunset time or earlier.

A hike for sure but the view is worth it! seeing the alhambra lit up against the inky night sky will be something i remember for a long time 💕💕 it was crowded but people were courteous and we all took turns getting to sit on the ledge to get photos! plus the walk up through the town was so picturesque and beautiful!

Very popular vista point, which means that it's very crowded with tourists. Besides the tourists the small plaza is filled with vendors and peddlers of trinkets, as well as guitar players and sometimes flamenco dancers. The views are spectacular. There are a few restaurants nearby, but not within the plaza itself.

Great place to go and get the perfect view of Alhambra, sunset and the city. There's restaurants and a church up there. Arrive early to catch the sunset because it gets crowded.

What a nice walk up here. It is worth coming up the hill. One side you walk up the other down and then arrive in the Arabia area. The view is stunning also at night. Nice bars and restaurants

The best place in Granada to see La Alhambra Palace from afar. Sunset at Mirador de San Nicolás is always our place of choice when in Granada capital.

Everything had been said about this place.
At sunset time, this is one of the top 10 places to take a photo in Spain, a photo of Alhambra, of course.
Just take a look at them.
One important tip for the older ones as the walk from the centre is steep and will take around 20 minutes from plaza Nuevo: take a taxi or the bus (31, 32 from there), the latter will cost 1.40€ per person.

Wonderful spot to walk around. The views across to Alhambra are fantastic, but it does get busy with buskers and people selling things.

There are two view points to see the Alhambra palace in the Granada. This point is better famous and easy to go up than other points.

Must-see views of the formidable red fortress, Alhambra. Go in the late evening if you can (22h00 or so) for a clear view and seat on the ledge (hanging your legs over if you’re brave enough). Still quite lively but you won’t need to wait for a great night shot of the fortress lit up.

The most amazing sunset spot I have ever come across. Very crowded so go about an hour before sunset to get a nice spot. Sweeping views of the Alhambra and city.

Beautiful free spot to see Granada and especially the Alhambra compound from far away. We took the 32 bus straight from the Alhambra area directly here. The stop has a cathedral and a masjid right next to it, both which are beautiful and welcoming to visitors. You can walk downhill from here to the city center very easily, and it’s a GORGEOUS walk down.
