Paradiso Cafetería

I had soup, a salad and churros there and was especially happy about the salad. They used very good tomatoes that really made the difference. The churros were also a delight!

Such a nice spot in the city. The atmosphere and the staff were great.
Even if I had to wait a bit longer than expected, just enjoy the moment and zone out.

Nice ambience and delicious churros with chocolate sauce. The coffee was very strong and delicious, and we were surprised by the waiters who spoke good German. English was perfect too! The tomato and cheese toast was ok but the bread was very soggy and a little unloving. But otherwise everything was great.

Right in the heart of this tourist town - this cafe bar is a real find.
The waiters (the younger one, especially) run (really run) around tending to the customers.
We had a decent lunch so only wanted something simple with some wine. We opted for bread, cheese and ham followed by churros and chocolate. With some lovely robust local red wine.
The food was great - but the atmosphere was better - a really busy, noisy family cafe. The waiter had a smile and friendly word with everybody before taking off at a trot to deal with other customers.
It was an entertaining and fun cafe to spend a couple of hours and given the location it was quite good value.
Recommended - especially the churros and chocolate..

Excellent service with waiters speaking English. Exceptionally friendly and they even came up with candles for 73 to celebrate our friend’s birthday!
The cakes are good and the ambience rustic. I highly highly recommend this place for a break. It opens even during siesta hours, something that is very welcome to the tired pilgrim. Churros are very very good. Exceptional.

Traveling in Galicia for the week and this is the Best restaurant I've been in!!!

Really nice, casual, local cafe which seems to become a bar in the evening. Came for the churros con chocolate, it was great and not so sweet.

Perfect place for Spanish breakfast. Best churros and tostadas con jamon. The bar is run by Spanish family- you can feel the spirit of Santiago. In the evening you can come for tapas and glass of wine :)

the best tarta de Santiago of Santiago :) amazing :) don't forget to ask for some liqueurs... i 'll definitely suggest liquer de cafe... hoemade and tastes super awesome ❤

Spent 3 nights in Santiago after completing the Camino from Sarria Visited Paradiso each day and it was a 10 out of 10 experience found it to be the best "bar" experience we had. The young waiter and his dad so attentive.

We had excellent churro here such that my daughter had us return the next day for more. Service was great and i would highly recommend this authentic bar
