Excellent market! Visited on a Saturday morning. Found a wonderful Gluten Free baker there. Everything was sin gluten. Lots of selection. We bought lots and then to a cafe and sat in the market eating some of the delicious baked goods. Oh yes also lots of fruits, vegetables, fish and meats.

Very interesting market. I love markets and this wasnt disappointing.
It sells from vegetables, fruits to wine or bacalhau (cod fish).

One of the corridors is full of different places to eat.

By far this is the best sea food market in whole of Europe. Fresh produce. Well organized. Not at all touristy yet an authentic experience of Spanish gastronomy. Heaven for cuisine hunters

Such a cool place to walk around and try some different foods. Definitely come a little later than opening, around noon.

A beautiful market, quite big actualy. The selection of fishes, mussels, fruit and vegetable is amaizing - i think only local selection no fancy overseas product.

I visited this market after doing the Camino and I met a fabulous lady in the Cheese section of the market whom was very friendly and helpful to me when looking for local cheese to try and purchase. It was the first stand on the right as you come in. She offered me a taste of the local cheese and even recommended the best chorizo to get also.
I would defiantly recommend having a look at what the local region has to offer.

Old fashioned produce, fish, meat, baked goods, cheese, variety of sausages and cured meat and flower market with hundreds of vendors open daily 0800 to 1500. You'll also find other vendors on the surrounding streets selling all kind of things including clothing items and homemade items like jams and jelly and so on. There are also a number of restaurants in the market or on the streets surrounding the market. There is a restaurant in the market that if you take your fish or meat there they cook it for you for only 5€. The caveat is you have to buy your side dishes and beverages from them, which is fair after all.

Even if you don't buy anything it's worth going for a tour.

Great local market with good selection of local vegetables, fruits, meat and dairy products and, of course, fish. Pass by to buy something to bring back home!

It's a traditional market. Amazing and interesting. If you buy seefoods and meats, you can eat in the restaurant that cooks it.

I will put 5 stars just for the navajas/navallas (the finger like seafood shells). I have tried a few shell sea food in general ( oysters, mussels, clams, percebes, scallops etc) but these things are out of this world!

Also the service is great and the place is very authentic

What a fun place to shop! Lots of seafood and meats, charcuterie and cheeses, wines and more. Also has a dining hall but it was so busy at lunchtime and all was reserved.

This is a local fresh market. You can buy Jamón, cheese or most of the things. But what I recommended is to come for seafood shopping. When you have your seafood, some restaurants in the market willing to process. If you don't want to buy, there are still many seafood restaurants in the market. We spent around 25-30 euros per head. But it also depends on your budget. Sorry for not having many photos. It's good for lunch. Don't come in the evening because it closes.

Well worth a visit, come early or book a table if you want to eat at one of the many little restaurants.

All serving catch of the day, it's so fresh.

Interesting markets to wander around and get a feel for the types and varieties of food available in this part of Spain. Very busy and popular with shoppers as well as people stopping for a snack or lunch. Short easy walk from the centre of town.

Excellent local market with local produce: cheese, meat, seafood, honey, veg, etc.
This place was built in the 1800’s, the stall owners are friendly and helpfull.
It’s worth a visit.
