a lovely place to stop in wine country! the kindest staff, good food and a fair price. I am sorry I did not get to stay for the mains, but the pintxos were well done. in my top 5 spots for that. try the local bier, pair it with grilled fish. txacolina all day.

We had no booking and was told “no, fully booked” but since we arrived 15 min before opening time, they gave us a table. Staff do not speak English but that didn’t matter! Their attentive service, smiles to my baby daughter and fabulous food was simply brilliant! We had the menu and would highly recommend eating here. Fabulous atmosphere 🤗

Crowded, but great. Standing room for pinxtos and drinks, seating available for people wanting lunch and dinner. I tried my first Txacoli wine here and now I look for it everywhere I go! They have plenty of pinxtos to choose from if you're feeling a snack with friendly service!

Very friendly staff and amazing food. You can have pintxo or the main menu, which we did. We had the Getaria special starter and the turbot. Both were excellent. We felt very welcome with our toddler and he had a great time! Would definitely recommend booking or going early as it was full on a weekday lunchtime in October.

A most welcoming and pleasant restaurant, deservedly very popular. Pintxos are of impressive variety and excellent quality, and grilled fish at lunch was a treat. Five varieties of txakoli offer a chance to accompany a meal by a mini wine tasting.

Absolutely, the best seafood we've had in Spain. (We had Grilled Prawns and Sea Bass.) Chocolate and coffee ice cream dessert was delicious too!

Amazing food, great service, fair price - highly highly recommend! The grilled turbot was probably the best fish I’ve ever eaten! We walked in at noon and were able to make a reservation for an hour later, perfect! But we are a small family traveling in low season, so be aware this place is not that big and very popular.

It was a short stop for us, but very good one. Every tapa we tried was tasty and worth recommendation.

Will remember this grilled turbot for the rest of my life! Hands down one of the best meals of our trip to Spain. Simple yet oh so memorable.

Easy 5 stars. Good food! You can smell their grill filling up the street . Great serving sizes. Good value and superb service. Get their set lunch for 20 euros. Comes with half a bottle of wine. Huge starters. A main and a desert! Their cheese cake was so good.

Excellent value and tasty food here! Service was really good from the gentleman who spoke really good English. One of our best experiences in the Basque Country. The fish was cooked over hot charcoal using the traditional method and it was perfect. Would recommend the hake neck.
