Delicious food and accommodating staff. We ordered the turbot, which was grilled and doused in olive oil. It had a wonderful meaty and buttery texture and the size of the portions were very filling for two! To accompany this, we had the tuna tataki and a side salad. We finished the evening with a raspberry puff pastry and cheese ice cream, both which I would highly recommend.

Fantastic seafood restaurant overlooking the fishing port of Getaria. The grilled turbot was awesome. The prawns a dream. The wine list is very comprehensive. Also a must try is the home made cheese ice cream. No chance to get a table without reservation, especially in the summer. Service is impeccable.

This was one of the best meals I have ever had made even a better experience by a facilities’ tour by the founder. They use holdings tanks with pumped harbor water to keep sea food fresh, they process over 4,000kgs of locally fished sustainable Bonito Tuna for their restaurant (20% committed to friends of the restaurant), hold over 40,000 bottles of wine stored in 3 cellars … our meal started with bonito, perfectly grill chipirones, “salpicón de bogavante” (lobster) and texangurro al horno (crab meat) paired with a Txacoli (Basque Country popular white wine); followed by a perfectly grilled rodaballo and a beef chuleta paired with a Gran Reserva 2015 Prado Enea. Desert included arroz con leche and milhojas.

One of the best lunches I’ve ever had. No pretension in the food, just wonderful ingredients cooked simply but expertly. Squid, prawns, clams and anchovies for starters were all excellent and the Turbot and Steak for main were just sublime. Fantastic wine list and quirky service. I loved it. What a view from upstairs too.

I was blown away by their pulpo. It was so well cooked, so delicious, tender and crispy on the outside and the flavor so addicting. We also had their Tataki and was amazing. Highly recommended for pulpo lovers, once you try this one it will be hard to beat. Scallops and dessert was ok. Service impeccable.

Fantastic fresh food, well seasoned and cooked to perfection. Exactly what we expected. Only two slight downsides are the prices which I found even though the quality is superb still a bit overpriced and the plates are somewhat from outdated, but that's not where the focus lies....food was perfect service attentive and quick. Selection of fresh seafood was great too, over all very happy

Honestly the best fish I ever had. No discussion, so simple yet so fine and delicious. I've heard a lot of good stuff about this place and it didn't disappoint us at all.

Turbot was truly excellent, if pricey. Kokotxas also hit the spot. Roasted peppers very very nice. Only let down was the green salad which was just leaves and raw onions.

The place for turbot and lobster. Simple as that.
We have visited twice, once with car in 2022 but also with public transportation from San Sebastián in 2023. So even though it’s a bit off, don’t hesitate. Just take UK10/UK11 from downtown and you’ll be there in 45min for 2-3eur/pers.
