An absolute joy . From the fantastic building to the quality of the art , this was a great experience which has lifted my experience of the city. Absolutely well worth a visit . Sadly the cafe and shop not open when we visited...but still a great visit.

One of our favorite contemporary qry museum in the world. Every time we visit Santiago we go there and we surprised by the quality of the art. The bookstore is amazing and we always buy some books in every visit. Highly recommend!

A very interesting must see building for anyone interested in Álvaro Siza architecture. The bold external form respects the neighbouring San Domingos de Bonaval convent. Internally clever manipulation of corridors, stairs and windows create a wonderful journey through the gallery. Coffee and snacks available at the gallery cafe.

A good 2 hour trip! A beautiful building by Alvaro Siza and nice complementary art work throughout. Coffee is also very cheap and nice!

The great thing about this spot is that it is free and you have a cafe in the back that you can hang out in. There are bathrooms downstairs which are super clean. They have constantly revolving new exhibits so it's really fun to come here regularly. Nearby there are some other museums as well. And of course you are very close to a bunch of really good cafes. There are some nearby parks so if you want to go for a small hike there is definitely plenty to do there. The stuff is pretty friendly and they will help you out and show you around if you ask. I think it's one of those gems of the city so definitely worth visiting and you get a sense of what the local community of artists are really involved in. I know it's a bigger installation and obviously not the small artists place of representing themselves but still an incredible asset for the city.

Beautiful building by Portuguese architect Alvaro Siza. Free to get in. It usually has some interesting conceptual art exhibit or another and the restaurant/cafeteria is really good. What more could one ask for?

*FREE* entrance. It's modern architecture hosts contemporary artists from all over the world exhibiting their works of art and multidisciplinary projects. Exhibitions are renewed quarterly and has a bookstore with a neat selection of books and a restaurant with a terrace in Bonaval park next to the Museo do Pobo Galego.

Nice modern gem in few minutes walk distance from the center. Spacious but will not "rob" too much of your time
