Hotel Rural Gaintza

Wonderful hotel just 5 min away from town. The surroundings are stunning since its a vineyard area. The staff were very gracious and made every moment pleasant.
We did the vineyard tour and it was great.
We had a big room with shower and a big bathtubs perfect for relaxing. Breakfast is huge.
Can’t wait to be back again and enjoy one of my fav cities in the world.

Very nice place. Good breakfast, friendly staff and great tour of the winery. And delicious Txakoli! I would definitely recommend going here, either for wine tasting or overnight stay at the hotel.

We stayed here for our holiday in San Sebastián which is about 30 mins drive. Hotel Rural Gaintza is situated in family run vineyard and provides excellent accommodation. The staff are friendly with warm always willing to end a hand. We had the junior suite which is spacious and has a hot tub and separate shower. The room is very clean. There is also a bright and well organized living room as common area. Breakfast spread is generous and delicious. The owner also provide tour around the vineyard and wine tasting enthusiasm and passion. We had a great time at this hotel....

Adorable little inn, located on the upper Getaria, in the middle of the vineyard. The staff was super friendly. The room was nice and tidy. And the place was just a 6 minutes walk away from one of my favorite restaurants in the world. I definitely won't search for another hotel to stay at next time I'm in Getaria.

We were very pleased with our stay here, price was very reasonable, room was spacious, excellent air con, good parking and the breakfast was really good too.

We found the staff to be very helpful and welcoming, explaining clearly what the town had to offer and how to get into town which was a short walk.

Getaria itself is a really nice small town with good restaurants a small beach and some good shops, highly recommend.

We stayed in a 'higher' jr suite for 2 nights and another 2 nights in a jr suite. The higher jr suite has a terrace overlooking txakoli fields and it is lovely to sit out and watch the sunset with a glass of txakoli in hand. Rooms are well appointed, clean and while not enormous are not pokey either. Beds are big and comfortable. Bathrooms are well lit, clean and well appointed. Breakfast is included in the rate and is a generous spread. The hosts are helpful, informative and very hospitable. One of the advantages that Gaintza has is its superb location...right next door to the Balenciaga museum. And a stone's throw from the old town location where the 1 star Elkano is and the port where Kaia Kaipe is. In all you couldn't do better when choosing accommodation in Getaria.

Hotel plein de charme. Les chambres sont spacieuses nous avions celle avec balcon. Une attention particulière nous a été prodiguer suite à une chute et blessure de la femme. Personnel attentif et attentionné.

Hôtel de charme situé entre terre et mer, non loin du port de Getaria.
Le personnel est à l'écoute, les chambres sont spacieuses et très propres.
Le petit-déjeuner est très copieux. Il est servi du jus d'orange frais et des gâteaux "maison", un régal.
À faire, la visite guidée du domaine avec la découverte du fameux Txakoli (vin local).
Merci pour tout, nous reviendrons assurément.

Lugar muy recomendable. Limpio y con estilo. Habitaciones amplias y con buen servicio. SmartTV para compartir contenido multimedia. Parking privado. La única pega es que para acceder andando desde Gustaría hay que saber una gran cuesta.

Un lugar muy tranquilo ideal para descansar y desconectar. Nos dejaron de regalo una botella de vino de su propia bodega, excelente detalle. La habitación muy amplia y cómoda. Hay una terraza donde se puede aprovechar para ver las estrellas. El desayuno completo y variado. La atención excelente.

El Hotel es un lugar precioso y acogedor. El personal fue, en todo momento, súper atento, la verdad que son grandes profesionales. El desayuno fue variado y muy rico. Sin duda, un lugar al que se lo recomendaré a todo aquel que quiera pasar unos días en Getaria.

Un sitio maravilloso para para descansar y desconectarse muy tranquilo y acogedor y nos han tratado maravillosamente.

Sin duda es uno de esos lugares que te enamoran
Situado en un enclave natural rodeado de viñedos donde puedes experimentar la relajación y La Paz que te brinda el entorno, la habitación estaba perfecta, no tenía una sola pega, el personal muy atento y amable, te orientan sobre qué hacer en el pueblo y sobre todo lugares de interés culinario, el hotel cuenta con una bodega de Txacolí que dicho sea de paso la calidad es bastante buena, y si quieres ir al pueblo estás a 10 minutos andando, de por si el pueblo es muy auténtico y bonito.

Nos ha encantado!! Desde el primer momento estuvimos de lujo en este hotel. El trato ha sido muy bueno y son encantadores. La habitación tenía unas vistas inmejorables a viñedos. Pudimos desconectar ya que había mucha tranquilidad en el lugar y relajarnos con la bañera de hidromasaje. El desayuno variado y la situación excepcional ya que a 10 min caminando estábamos en el puerto de Getaria. También hicimos la visita a la bodega Gaintza, una explicación de 10 y la cata excelente! Sin duda recomendaremos este sitio y seguro que repetiremos.
