Mantelli's Kitchen Benidorm

We booked for afternoon tea for 4 people as a friend recommended it but we didn't realize how much of a treat we were in for. Our afternoon tea was a seasonal themed one so we sat down to a slightly sweet Christmas sangria that worked very well with everything we eat. Then came a amazingly presented prawns, smoked salmon and caviar (fish eggs) salad with this light but fantastically tasting dressing. Next came cheese and cranberry homemade scones with a cream cheese and onion feeling, and no one but two trays of sandwiches, one of turkey, sage, onion and stuffing and the other one with bacon, brie and a beetroot chutney. The sandwiches are stunning, from the quality of the wholegrain bread to the fillings and the taste of the butter, believe me they aren't cutting corners here. We where stuffed by now but it wasn't over.
Next it was puddings and coffee.The Christmas cake and the mince pies (homemade again) tasted so good, but the mulled wine poached pears OMG they were of the charts. So perfect that you wish that it was 10 not just one. It came just warm, with a really good vanilla ice cream and a silky smooth red wine reduction that I had to drink of the dish so it didn't go to waste.
Even the crockery, setting and cutlery was so cute.
The whole experience was fantastic and highly recommend it, definitely will be back soon with more people as we think that not many people knows about this place as it should be queues to get in. Looking forward our next visit ☺

I had afternoon tea at Mantelli's with a small group of ladies 2 weeks ago, it was absolutely delicious and very beautiful. The amount of food that we received for our money was astounding.
Everything was fresh and delicious. The service was excellent!!
I would definitely recommend taking the time to stop by and take something away for home if you are short on time. If you have time, experience the afternoon tea.

If you do literally nothing else in Benidorm or Spain you absolutely must try this place. It’s hidden away in this small street in the old part of town. Besides the stunningly homey classic decor and white washed furniture the cakes are transcendent! Soft and sweet and incredible. Seriously a must try!!!

Visited last week and we were very impressed. The cheesecake that we tried (which was beautifully presented in the shape of an apple - photo attached) was absolutely delicious. What's more, the service was very professional, the two owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Will definitely visit again the next time we're in Benidorm.

Another fantastic afternoon coffee in mantellis on what was a miserable day outside in Benidorm. Always made to feel at home when we visit. The millionaire cake was beautiful. Thank you guys:-)

Could have eaten any of the cakes but went for Billionaires shortbread and a pistachio muffin with a good cup of tea. Lovely welcome, highly recommended.

Wow just WOW. Such a beautiful dinner, my Dad and I went for a tapas night (Saturday evenings) and what a treat, you can certainly tell the owners love what they do and want to make your experience memorable. The location stands out in Benidorm because it's different and a little special, wonderful quality food and service. Don't miss the tapas night or afternoon tea! Next time I will try the tea. Upon arrival, our table was already there as were two incredibly friendly people with a sweet smile. A cute little place where you get a warm welcome. And the afternoon tea? Fantastic! Everything was carefully prepared, presented and the taste was great! I would love to come back to these lovely people and lovely place again. Absolutely recommended and take away is also possible!

I loved the carrot cake! Light and delicate sponge with a great taste and cream filling. Ask for the special ingredients! Great, friendly service and tourist advice, beautiful decoration. A fun place to call in any time of day for cake, coffee or a tipple!

What am amazing afternoon tea these wonderful guy's put on for us 9 ladies.
They went the extra mile to ensure that we left full and with great memories of a brilliant girlie afternoon.

Mantelli’s is just the nicest most impressive place to indulge in some you time while eating the most perfect cakes and drinking delicious coffee. I have never eaten such delicious perfection, this place is a must if you are in Benidorm 🌞

This hidden treasure was one of the best places I visited during the holidays. The coffee was great, and the handmade cake was amazing. The small cafe is very cosy and the owners are such nice people.

Walking into Mantelli's Kitchen in Benidorm is like being transported into a different realm where the stress and pace of life are left behind. Calm and tranquility are the words I'd use.
And the cakes! I'm at a loss as to how to describe them, not only the taste but how they look and are presented. Stunning, delicious and fabulous spring to mind ♥
Not to mention the owners, a nicer couple you would be hard pressed to find. Mantelli's is a credit to you both. 👍

I challenge you to visit Mantellis Kitchen in Benidorm’s Old Town have a slice of their real homemade cake with a cup of tea or coffee and not say you will be back. I can’t give a better recommendation than that!
