Sol Pelícanos Ocas

Yes it's noisy, but what do you expect in Benidorm. Rooms are comfortable & clean but could do with updating. Pool area is great, it's clean with loads of beds for everyone. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was good. There was plenty of choice. Good value for money.

Loved the hotel the staff were really friendly and very accomodating to our needs food was delicious room wasn't to warm it was a lovely stay with everything local or jump on a hire bike around the corner and go explore some real hidden gems in old town

We stayed here for a week in July and was slightly nervous having read the reviews before coming out, however we could not fault the place.
Due to being a family of 5 we had 2 rooms which we was unaware of until check in, but this did not pose a problem to us as they were on the same floor and we really only used them for sleeping etc. the rooms themselves were clean and comfortable and cleaned daily. My room had a leak on our second day but I reported this to reception and this was fixed within 15 minutes of me reporting it.
We stayed half board so had breakfast and evening meal. The food itself was nice but a bit repetitive especially for people who don’t eat meat. We did eat out a lot in the end so this didn’t really cause a major issue.
The pools were lovely and really clean, and we always managed to get a sun bed whatever time we went. It was nice to see staff being pro active with regards to the sun bed hoggers. The only thing I would say about the pool area is that the floors are really slippy and an accident waiting to happen. The floor is too hot to walk on bare foot, but with shoes it does cause you to slip everywhere. It may benefit to have some sort of matting down to prevent any accidents.
The hotel is in such a great location and everything is on the doorstep we which really liked.
I would definitely stay here again but perhaps next time I would stay room only as there is so much more food choice outside of the hotel.

Think this could possibly be my favourite hotel in Benidorm, yes the rooms are small and for us basic necessities like a kettle in the room are missing but the staff more than make up for it!!! So polite and go above and beyond to help us, nothing was too much trouble for them, the food in our opinion is great!!!! Never left the dining room disappointed.

We stayed here last year and liked it we tried to book it again this year for the festival in November, but it was booked out so we stayed in the Calypso.we had a friend with us who had never been to benidorm before so my son was showing her around all the sites and took her into the sol pelicanos to show her the pool from the program .a security guard asked them if they were guest's when they tried to explain what they were doing he asked them to leave , My son has Autism and this really frightened and upset him . it would only have taken 5 minutes at most to have let them have a quick look and they would have been of again. So now after going to Benidorm for the past 10 year's I don't think I'll be able to persuade him to go back. It only takes a bad experience like this to have a negative affect on someone with Autism, I wish people would stop and think before acting.

A superb hotel, 5 minutes from the beach and 5 minutes from, a huge choice of clubs and bars.
The restaurant has a superb choice of food; the kitchen staff and chefs are extremely efficient, all lovely staff including Miram, Julie, and Maria, to name just a few.

The bar staff are super quick, efficient, and great fun!

The whole hotel is immaculately clean throughout, and the toilets are lovely, clean, and well equipped.

The entertainment ranged from Petanque and Archery outside, which created huge laughs and great friends were made!

There was music, plays and theatres, rock n roll groups, something different every night.

The rooms have lovely balconies and are all exceptionally well cleaned and very spacious.

The pools are kept immaculately, and the planting and hedges, provide, privacy and beautiful surroundings.

Only one gripe! The smoking areas are tiny spaces with no tables! So when 20 or so smokers did go and get a table to place their drinks on, security had them removed immediately 🤔 🙄

This was my 2nd time here, but as a smoker, I'll be looking elsewhere.

The restaurant staff are so friendly and helpful. Thay are so professional and courteous. I was tret like royalty from the moment I stepped in to this beautiful hotel. I was so happy to be there. I came home and without any esitation. I wrang jet2 and booked for the 19th of march for another 10 nights. This beautiful Hotel is spotless. The House staff. ( Cleaners. ) Ar very professional two. The restaurant is fantastic.the location is perfect for everything you need. I can't wait for march to come around. So once again. A million thanks everyone at the beautiful Hotel sol pelicans ocas.

Great place to stay. Pool is amazing. Could do with another sheet on the bed as only 1 and it gets a bit chilly. The lifts are abysmal and need to be updated as they are rackety and take forever to get to your floor, even though there are 5 of them only 1 or 2 ever seem to be working. If you are lower than the 5th floor don't bother with them unless you need them. Expect to wait up to 3-5 mins and that's when it's not busy!!! Apart from that it's a good hotel and the breakfast/lunch/dinner buffet is spot on!! Make sure you get a pool view room the other side is not good, we upgraded to pool view as you won't get one unless you ask and expect to pay an extra €50 for the privilege!! All inclusive is the only way to go.....don't skimp out!

Why does this hotel get bad reviews
We’ve been to the cimbel for 24 days 4 star, but had to move as it’s full . Came today wasn’t expecting it to be good but it’s better. Good food hot, water free, room good and tv lots of uk Chanel’s only bbc at cimbel, entertainment, lovely garden area . A bonus this hotel s on tv Benidorm definitely book next year for 2 months

This was a life time experience
As being a big fan of the TV series benidorm. A very posh hotel rooms spotless pool is on tv and plenty of sunbeds. Children friendly plenty of things to do and down the road is Neptunes (Morgan Tavern)

Just back from a lovely week here all inclusive staff fantastic food very good outside pool was fabulous all areas spotlessly clean definitely will return :)

The hotel was clean ,spacious and amazing atmosphere, the food was delicious and drinks were fine , entertainment was OK ,rooms are like new and plenty of room and the pool was freezing and the all inclusive snack bar was a let down food was cold at that side.

Myself and my daughter had 6 great days arrived on 6th Nov for 6days weather was great wasn't expecting it to be got to lots of shows the entertainment was great have been many times before with my husband but unfortunately he can't travel these days and usually go with friends we always have a great time there 🤗🌞🌝💖

the hotel was very good food brillant sponge cakes were the best we.d tasted in long time. weather was extra bonus hot everyday while we were there staff were very polite excellent inevery way possible

Nice hotel! Rooms was clean, bathroom slightly dated, fridge in the room, nice balcony area and comfy beds. Location is brilliant you have bars next door, your at the top of the strip with bars, restaurants and clubs also a two minute walk from the beach. The best part of the hotel for me is definitely the pool! It is absolutely huge!
Entertainment during the daytime and night, pool bar, and restaurant inside the hotel. We chose to have bed and breakfast and was very happy with the breakfast. Lots of local foods, British foods, salads and fresh fruit.

The hotel is lovely and staff are great. Iv only 2 complaints there is no kettle to make a nice cup of tea in the morning and the room could be bigger.

Beautiful hotel. Very clean. Breakfast was lovely every day. Staff very friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Only 5 mins walk from the beach. Shops right next door.

I loved it when a went lovely staff and the bed rooms were really nice and comfy and the food was amazing but I do recommend for children but not decmenr as your not aloud in pool such is reasonable but so far a loved it! They have a childerns entertainment also a park and they have a smaller pool for children the pool is massive not to deep at all, quite good food around 7/10 changers all the time they do have a good nealth meanu on the buffet but it's clean I will have to say ! Worth going tho .

Amazing experience! The hotel is located near the beach. Great & friendly staff, lovely & tasty breakfast. Room very clean. The hotel has also 2 very nice pools. Highly recommended if you want to enjoy your holidays in Benidorm. Just Incredible!
