After two nights in a row I can say this place is a must do in Galicia

The octopus is the best I've ever tried, the chipirones are delicious and the pimientos de padrón stunning. The service is great, the price-quality ratio great as well. What else can you ask for?

You even have a 10 mins walk to the city centre for digestion 😅

Really really fantastic Pulpo, this simple and unpretentious restaurant delivers big on fresh seafood at absolutely unbelievable prices. We had Pulpo, Chipirones, Bread and 4 bottles of 1906, paid only 33 euros and left stuffed! Always busy so be prepared to wait for a table at peak times!

One of the best Sea food I had in Europe! The Galethian Sea food is known as one of the best in the world so..you can't go home without trying the pulpo a feira and chipirones Fritos con patatas and of course the Pimientos de Padron 😋😋😋😋

The place looks quite old fashioned, meaning it didn't change over the past 20 years most likely and gives the vibes of an authentic one and not a tourist trap.
Service is fast and very straightforward, the food is really good and served with no fancy plates or anything to look better on social networks: just good food, well cooked and what you see is what you get.
We had dinner here in 5 people, paying less than 20€ each, ordering: patatas, ensaladas, 3 platos de pimientos, 2 de pulpo, 1 calamares, una ensalada, 4 postres, agua y vino dela casa.

Absolutely great place to eat fresh seafood and not only. We had to wait on a queue outside a bit but definitely worth it. Fast service and amazing taste. Price is also very good

Really good octopus at affordable prices, this place is the real thing no tourist trap, real Galician cousin, don't expect anything fancy tho and it gets super noisy too; if you want something genuine Galician go for it!

It has been almost a month since I have last been (and first discovered) the restaurant and I have always wanted to write a review for them because they deserve it! I am crazy for almejas and I think it was the best almejas I have eaten in the whole Galicia! So much that we went there again the other day to eat a second reound :D I speak very little Spanish but even with my language barrier, people (and the owner) were very friendly, it felt like eating at home. This place will surely be one of my reasons to go back to A Coruna

(Also, I do not understand why people complain about the bread pricing, it is very common here in Spain where they give you a plate of bread but you are always free to say that you don't want it :D Which means, you would not be charged for that. Considering the fact that how other things are free - tapas, cup of water etc., I think it is not fair to accuse a restaurant just because they are charging for the bread.)

Visiting from Florida US. Came here with my family for dinner. Absolutely the best pulpo, chipirones and croquetas that we've had so far. A very cozy atmosphere, great food and cold beer. Could not ask for a better meal. It's almost directly across from the Nh hotel. Will be coming back if in the area!

Very friendly service, helped a poor anglophone find a decent meal despite having no language in common.

The food was amazing and our waiter was very nice. His recommendations were spot on! We don't speak Spanish and had no problems.

The pulpo a feira was spectacular, furthermore the rest of the dishes were also great. Special mention to the quince cheese cake, delicious!

Great value, good cooking & fast service, go before 1pm on a Sunday to avoid queuing for a table. They don't take bookings.
