Restaurante Casa Paredes (Santiago de Compostela)

Enjoyed our lunch, very nice people. We were properly greeted at the front.
Nothing fancy about this place. Choice of seating outside or inside. The services was excellent, thank you Rosio we enjoyed our lunch. Food always taste so much better when the service is good. We both ordered the menu del Dia.
Roasted chicken and roasted beef and they were both excellent, in fact everything was good.
We will return, in fact we told the server Rosio that we would return in two weeks to have lunch or dinner.

Yesterday, our group of 14 arrived in Santiago de Compostela after successfully completing the Camino de Santiago hike. We were all exhausted and hungry, and we were worried that we wouldn't be able to find a restaurant that could accommodate us without a reservation.

But then we found Casa Paredes. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they were happy to seat us even though we didn't have a reservation. They even gave us a special pilgrims lunch, which included Gallego soup, pork shoulder ham, and empanada tuna.

The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. We all felt like we were truly being treated like pilgrims.

Great food at a reasonable price. We were serviced by Maria, which is ironic since we were steps away from the cathedral. She was awesome! Try the lamb, it was outstanding!

What a pleasant surprise. When i walked in, I was skeptical and while the interior is rather basic, the food was absolutely delicious! The waitress was so friendly and kind. As I was having the steak, she noticed I had finished the potatoes and brought extra. And the prices - you just can’t beat them.

Fantastic lunch, the best waitress, she speaks English! We were treated with kindness and laughs. A great end to our Portuguese Camino. Great whisky ice cream cake. Thank you for all of the hielo with our vino, Gracias💃🏻🍷

Really nice place, you can feel like at grandma's home. Staff is very friendly, they speak english and are ready to help and explain everything. Food is great - nothing sophisticated, but like home made. You won't be hungry for sure 🙂

Good and strong coffee! Big portions. Instead of throwing cheap sweets at you, this place has big slices of bread with tasty, homemade oil and tomatosaus on. This place feeds hungry pilgrims without 'milking them'. That is a seldom thing on the Camino de Santiago these days! I even got a real double espresso when I asked for it...

A lovely place to end one's camino. The owner was most attentive and made sure we had enough food for a final dinner. And excellent food it was. Thanks to all the staff and in their efforts at communication.

AMazing slow cooked lamb and potatoes, and delicious fish soup. Super friendly family restaurant, with 10€ and 16€ menu options. Love!

Great MENU DE LA CASA, the baby clams and the stew lamb was fantastic.

If you want to have a Croissant and a Coffee, it is fine. ...and the Service has a smile.

No le doy más estrellas porqué no hay. Un restaurante familiar y casero donde el trato es directo y cercano. Comida casera y con precios adecuados. Lo guardo para próximas veces, porqué volveré. ¡Gracias!

Menú a 13'95€ con bastante calidad, buen precio y buena cantidad. Muy amables también en el trato. Recomendable!
