Hotel Helios Benidorm

Just returned from 6 nights at the hotel.
We booked the Junior Suite and am so pleased we did. The extras were definitely worth the price we paid. The room itself was spacious with 2 TVs, sofa, large bed and fabulous wraparound balcony with a great view down towards the strip then onto the sea. Bed was super comfortable and room cleaned every day. We loved our Bali bed by the pool! Breakfast was fantastic huge choice fresh and delicious. All staff were lovely in fact there were no negatives at all during our stay and we wouldn’t hesitate to return to this hotel or try another in the Helios group. Thank you we had a wonderful holiday.

The best hotel we've stayed in.
We were in room 520, had great views. The staff were brilliant, friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and well looked after. Breakfast had loads of variety to meet everyone's needs and the evening meal was exceptional. The hotel is ideally placed for all amenities. As a group we have already booked for next year. We'll done to all the staff.

We stayed here for a few days in May with my family. The hotel is lovely, and we really enjoyed it, even though it’s not exactly family-friendly and might not be ideal for families with kids. Here are some pros and cons we’d like to share:

* Heated pool: absolutely brilliant and convenient, perfect for a dip any time of the year, no matter the weather.
* Restaurant/food: contrary to some negative reviews about dinner, we actually found it better than breakfast. Everyone, including vegetarians, had plenty of options. The food was delicious.
* Poolside bar food: the tastiest we’ve had during our entire stay in Benidorm, even better than any restaurant in town.
* Quiet rooms with excellent soundproofing.

- (though this might not be an issue for everyone):
* Street-facing rooms: Café music can be noisy.
* Lack of kid-friendly amenities: for example, no high chairs in restaurant.

I loved everything about the hotel, I was in room 112 with my friend Suzanne. We were with a group of about 50 from The bingo group from Trevis bar Camposol Mazarrón. I will definitely be back & can't praise it highly enough . The staff were excellent the room spotless , we just had bed & breakfast omg it was fab & the selection to choose from was the best I have ever seen . All freshly cooked & the presentation excellent plus the dining room was excellent very spacious. The hotel is situated in a great place you are near everything beach , market & shops & pubs with entertainment or to eat . Thanks to all the staff ye were the best

On arrival at reception we were greeted warmly by Angeles who was really lovely and pleasant. She noticed that I had been here previously a month ago and also that it had been my birthday the day before we arrived. She then told us that she was going to upgrade our room free of charge and then when we got back to our room later on the first day we found they had left us a bottle of sparkling wine and some cakes - what a lovely gesture and fully appreciated. This lady Angeles delivered first class service and is a credit to your company.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. My husband and I stayed in November 2023 with another couple. Our rooms were spacious and perfectly clean. The facilities, power points, lighting, bathroom etc were all exceptional and well designed. The location is also really central without being in an overcrowded or noisy area. The hotel has a plush and upmarket feel but is really reasonably priced.
It happened to be my birthday during our stay and the hotel staff picked up on this from my passport details and surprised me by placing a stunning dessert board for two and a bottle of cava on ice in our room on my birthday. This was a really lovely touch.
Also, the breakfast buffet was unreal. I have never seen such an extensive range of hot and cold food on offer and everything was really fresh. They even had a chef offering omelettes made to order and the honey was dripping from a fresh honeycomb.
The staff on reception were also very welcoming and friendly. I can't recommend this place highly enough. We are booked to return for Valentines day. Can't wait

View from the suite on the top floor. Room is quite small but lovely big corner terrace and area with sofa and TV to the side of the sleeping area (bedroom also with another TV), coffee machine. Really nice buffet breakfast and use of Double Bali bed at pool if you want it.

Excellent location hotel is spotless. The staff are helpful and so accommodating. From the chefs who go out of their way to prepare an individual gluten free option to the excellent reception and cleaning staff .
Third time here and will keep on returning.

This is my 7th year running staying at the Helios Hotel in Benidorm. I would honestly not stay anywhere else! The staff are so nice, the rooms are so clean and comfortable and the food is absolutely delicious, high quality and healthy! I can not recommend this Hotel enough for those travelling to Benidorm regardless of if you are young or old, relaxing or partying at the Fiesta! I have done both and I visit at least twice a year. The restaurant staff are so lovely and friendly and they recognise me each time I visit. I often travel solo and feel so safe at this Hotel and in the area. There is a cute little hand written card in your room to welcome you along with a big ice bucket containing a beer! Complimentary mineral water and a bag of traditional spanish crisps too! There is a good sized fridge in the room for the stash of goodies you can help yourself too during breakfast and dinner or for big bottles of mineral water. The fruit in the restaurant is unlike anything you get in the UK! It's big and juicy and delicious 😋 A huge variety of food available and perfect for those who may he looking for a healthy diet as the salad options, fish and lean meats are gorgeous. There's also the naughty treats and copious amounts of rice, vegetables, traditional paella, Turkish kebab and Italian pasta! You have to check this place out if you have never stayed. Location wise, it is ideal for the beach, long walks, supermarkets, karaoke bars, pubs and restaurants. The Spa within the Hotel is beautiful and is Complimentary to those staying in the Double Premium rooms which also have the best views! 👌 Nicola x

One of the best hotels I've stayed at, could not fault it. Room perfect and clean, food excellent and staff pleasant and helpful. Booked again for next year.

We love the Helios it's perfectly situated and has a luxurious feel about it. The staff are excellent, and the hotel is spotless inside & out.

Excellent hotel. Great value, awsome breakfast. Lovely pool area. Not full of party animals. Exceptionally clean with helpfull staff.

Check in staff were warm welcoming and very efficient, room was fab with a great view. Breakfast was fresh plentiful and an amazing selection of both hot and cold. Staff constantly cleaning and checking tables and replenishing food.

So what can I say.again another fabulous stay at this beautiful hotel ..from arriving ..Caroline who checked us in made us very welcome .me and my friend Alison stay here and we cannot fault this hotel..friendly staff. immaculate clean food is amazing ..this will be our 4 th time going back in august ..so the helios is our place to holiday ..wonderful holiday ..welldone helios thanku xx

Brilliant hotel. Close to everything. Only thing that I wished was to have a kettle, tea, coffee available. Food and staff were welcoming and polite. Clean throughout. Quiet in the evenings. Yoga available too.

Have stayed in many hotels in Benidorm but this ranks as the best,we stayed in room 926, the lovely welcome note we had, along with the cold beers and water in room everyday during our stay. The room was lovely and clean, the bed is one of the best we have slept in, only downside is we found the food slightly cold at times, other than that would come back here and recommend to others.

Excellent hotel , all the staff are very friendly. Good choice of food for breakfast and dinner. Good location for beach and the old town . Coming back in April for 4 nights.

Had a fab time. ALL the staff were really friendly and helpful. The food was amazing and everywhere was spotlessly clean. Great value for money, would highly recommend.

Recently had a long weekend here with friends to see Hermans Hermits at the Benidorm Palace. What a fab hotel, Rooms large, clean and comfortable. Fab views from the large balcony and breakfast - well - what a superb choice and all fresh. Self service so take just what you need. Freshly made omelettes, hot food, cold food, cakes, honey on the comb - delicious - far too much choice to list here. it's so good that we're all coming back again next month. A short walk to numerous eateries and entertainments, also the stunningly beautiful beach less than 10 min walk. Special shout out to Receptions girls, Angela and Isobelle - so helpful, informative, cheerful, Nothing was too much trouble. All in all, a perfect trip. Thankyou

Fantastic Hotel,right in the Entertainment heart of Benidorm. Within walking distance to all bars and shops. No steep hills to contend with. Excellent Hotel breakfast. Exceeded expectations. I will definitely stay here again.
